It's supposed to be like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters (a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds super weird to me!!) (yes it's an L not an i)
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Name change might happen eventually (I've been saying this since march...) but I'm afraid of people not liking it lol

funny idea, make it so that tainted items can just *exist* in item pools, like specific ones is specific pools, like tainted neptunus in the planetarium pool, and spider freak in the same ones that mutant spider is
assuming this hasn't been changed and you are not above bit of console usage, give yourself ludo + parasite + strange attractor, from what i remember just those 3 items alone can cause some real wacky things to happen

I Watched your "newest" (3 months ago lol) video on your cas channel when i first found you, and as someone who also cant get a consistent sleep schedule going i feel you... Thinking to yourself "damn laying down right now would be nice" and then sleeping for 10 to 12 hours and ruining a your attempt at fixing your schedule is one of the most annoying things... Luckly CZcams is more "lax'ed" than an in-person job and you have more freedom to upload when you want (unless the algorithm punishes you for it).
TL:DR My words of advice is try and make your upload schedule fit around you, and not the other way around!
and if ever the grind of holding R to get a sick run gets too mind-numbing please make sure to prioritize your own well being!
But regardless keep up the good content!
ludo, dead onions (for the shotspeed downs) and scared heart... The god awful shotspeed with homing basically means you'll have no actual control of the tear and it'll just kill everything at its leisure!
For a challenge idea, maybe using the rules mod to limit yourself to only items that have a tainted variant from the tainted treasure rooms mod.
Also always getting the tainted treasure room item (there is a trinket that you can probably give yourself to increase the spawn chance at the start of the run but that’s up to you)

You could break greed mode and use glowing hourglass to max the greed donation machine in one run
Ghg can be used only 3 times per floor, so it is possible only with deep pockets and many, MANY money

Do a run starting with white candle (black candle tainted item)
Try the Lazy Mattman character (its like a lost but better af)
Try winning the challenge you did some time ago (Doing the forgotten quest to get forgotten but with t lost)

As someone who’s struggle with mental health issues on top of a destroyed sleeping schedule, it would be really cool to see a run were every item is a beggar so we can finally see the secret transformation on the channel. Shoot through in bumbo and blood puppy and you can have yourself a little Isaac rager
Have you looked into the secret characters in fiend folio yet? Maybe doing a video on one of those (like the frog) would be fun!

For an idea, every items is blood puppy ! You gotta love this little guy... It could be a good challenge for you !
Here are some ideas.
1. One Item only Challenges. You pick an item and can only play the run with this item and nothing else. (Seems lame but I had some fun)
2. Koop Greedier Runs
3. Try Undertale, or whatever crossover mod existing I guess.
4. Start collecting 3x Dead God lol
5. Speedrun?
6. Random timed "Clicker Run" (should be possible somehow with the da rules mod)
Silly video idea: reverse stars every time you clear a room (with da rules mod or similar). Would be cool to see what kind of monstrosity of a run you could create.
Choose one item. You start with that item, but for the whole run, you can't pick up anything that doesn't have greater negative effects than positive (poly and soy wouldn't count, but curse of the tower would), but you have to pick up the negative stuff.
My propositions for the challenge:

📌 Some runs with secret seeds (I mean, you may enter the seed by yourself, and some of these are special)
📌 Just a daily run (sometimes it's fun!)

Lil’ slugger & optionally a buncha ribs, but you’re blindfolded, which means you have to get up all close and personal to use the face hitbox lil’ slugger gives you

I saw Mattman do “can’t miss a tear”. Turning that on its head, what about you can never hit a tear? Only using bombs, contact damage, or familiars while avoiding hits with your tear or tear equivalent.
Brimstone or Mom’s Knife would make it nigh impossible, and Dr. Fetus and the like I’d say would also be out. That alone would make things incredibly difficult though, so familiars wouldn’t count, you could just do all familiars. (Unless you try to cornercase with Lilith, but that’d just be silly lol)
Do whatever you’d like with it, excited to see what everyone comes up with!
Here's a challenge idea: You play as Isaac and you start with Schoolbag, Spinup, and Spindown. For every item you find, you must either spin it up or down but you can only reroll once. Otherwise, you can't take it. And just to be clear, you can't reroll the starting D6, either.
Terrible video idea: Beat as many rooms as possible with nothing but an army of Bumbos, no tears allowed 😂

My video idea is really just "Can you win with wisps as your only damage?" Starting as Bethany, give yourself Jar of Wisps in the very beginning, and maybe BFFs. All other items are replaced with batteries. Can you take that and turn it into a win?
Since you can't get your sleep schedule under control, here's a challenge I know you'll hate:
Start with any 3 items (except Genesis)
You must enter all item rooms.
You must take all items encountered.
Perma curse of the blind and lost
Must continue until Delirium and continue retrying until you kill them.
Da Rules mod:
You can enable any 10 items you like.
You must enable all items you hate to appear on any pedestal (e.g. Montezuma's Revenge, Jupiter)
No turning off sound effects.

I don’t have a specific idea in mind, but I really like mod showcases or exploring new synergies.
Challenge idea: pick a random TAINTED character (can be of your choice or picking random in character select) and make it so you can only take tainted items. I’m pretty sure there is a way to replace items in da rules mod.
Good idea for run:you start with 15 dmg (or more) when you get a hit you take -2.5 dmg and on next floor damage will become 15 again (or more)
Just started seeing your vids and its pretty amazing how entertaining they can be even with just subtitles 😄 and i guess since you asked about ideas... umm idk how feasible it would be but start something akin to vanilla run and each time you get damaged add a mod to the run?
Idea: Trinkets Run!
You start with Mom's Purse, Mom's Box and Smelter. Every other item pool (except for quest items) is replaced with Marbles, so you can get 6+ different trinkets per floor
I like trinket runs since they're pretty much the second item pool of the game, and you have fun figuring out how to play TBoI without smacking it with D6/Spindown until it coughs up your run like usual
Feel free to add an item or two if you think it'll add to the challenge :D
"Triple King"
You play as Judas, cannot have hp ups,( holy mantle and holy cards can be used ). As for items - you have holy crown, crown of the dark prince and glitched crown.
Your goal is to kill delirium, you can go Angel deals if challenge is too hard, but it will be so much more interesting if you went Devil deals(you can purchase devil items with pound of flesh, soul of the lost.).
With "da rules" mod (i hope spelled that correctly) make that you cannot have more than one heart container.
You cannot turn yourself into another character bcs it will give you more health. (No clicker and etc)
You can have more than 1 live.

My idea would be: You have to "climb" the qualities for the Items. This means the first items that you can pick has to be quality 1. Then 2, 3 and then 4. Then you have to start at 1 again. If you pick a item in the wrong order the run is lost.

How about this for a challenge (if you have a d6 in real life or you can use online random number generators): shops are forbidden, when you encounter item pedistals you have to throw the dice.
Outcomes:
1 - you have to skip this item
2, 3 - you have to reroll the item and take it
4 - you have to reroll the item, but can choose to take it or leave it
5 - you can take the item, leave it or reroll it and take if you like it
6 - like 5, but item on the pedestal becomes golden (maybe you can just spawn the copy with console command)
I love that edit at the start… makes me think of those “took a picture every day” videos.
My personal suggestion for a video would be to try the speedrunning mod racing+. I don't remember seeing a video on your channel on that and by seeing how used you are to reroll for a good start you shouldn't be too much lost haha Also it can be a fun thing like "try to beat my PB" kind of content
I'd suggest a starting with Parasite, Ludovico and Magnet Tears.
You'll LOVE how wacky things get with those 3 items...
For a good challenge, do this. Play Tainted Maggie, give yourself Lil' Slugger and Guillotine. You aren't allowed to shoot, and you have to let the chainsaw on your head do all the damage. Have Fun!
I love hardcore Challenges, nobody can say, that you Are lucky af, So you can show your skills to everybody. Or maybe do challenges, it might aswell help people WHO strugle with em
I think getting stuff from Super Bum only would be fun. It at least sounds fun or the other thing I can think of is every boss reward and item room item is Contract from Below. It does not include the Chest. The last one just seems fun to me.
So start a run with any character BUT in every floor you can only pick up items of a certain quality (this is randomized with a random number generator) so in Basement 1 if you get a 3 then you can only pick up items with a Quality of 3, no matter how good or bad, you MUST pick it up however, no skipping items!
Tainted Forgotten run. No need for any other gimmicks, he's gimmicky enough
A reverse sacred orb run, where you can only pick up items of quality 2 or lower, any and all quality 3 and 4 items will be left behind or can be rolled in hopes of getting a lower quality
I suggested this a while ago, because it's extremely chaotic and can be pretty fun: the GFuel seed, but playing as Jacob and Esau. You can alternate who gets each GFuel pickup and it eventually devolves into chaos and it'd be pretty fun to see you play that!

Here’s a fun, 3 item synergy: Ludovico + Parasite + Strange Attractor = black hole. Also fun fact, soy milk does not interfere with the dps.

You will get 1 random item at start and then you can reroll it into another 2 items. IMPORTANT RULE!!!

Some more Fiend Folio runs would be cool to see, idk if they added any new challenges with it, but those might be cool to see as well.
Idea: Every new floor, use Clicker and/or D4. You must adapt to a new playstyle each floor, never quite knowing what you'll get next.
A lot of people are posting their challenges ideas so I'd like to see you try one I did in the past :
Start with Judas but you can only deal damage by using his How To Jump + Birthright synergy
Orbitals that deal contact damage are ban (but the ones that only block projectiles are fine)
Bombs can be used to blow up rocks / open secret rooms but can't be used offensively
Creeps and transformations can't be used offensively either
Of course, you can tweak a few things to make it better or easier but these were the rules I used
Other than that have a good day lavencas!
Idea: every item is experimental treatment but start with rock bottom
You could do a series where its like an isaac nuzlocke, perhaps on a second save. Obviously getting dead god from that is next to impossible, but just seeing how many marks and unlocks you can get before you run out of characters would be cool

Dunno how good the idea is, but: Schoolbag, Spinup Dice, and Spindown Dice. You can only take items that are 1 ID above or below their original ID when found. Non-rolled and over-rolled items can't be taken.
Maybe try a hard challenge: glitched luck issue
You start with glitched crown (hear me out) and you can only get quality 0 or 1 items, if your youtuber luck will make all items in rotation quality 2 or higher, you will have to skip that item, every 2 floors you can grab a quality 2 item, and only quality 2 nothing higher. Have fun and good luck (if you attempt it of course)
Video idea: use the Rules Mod to make a run where you activate D100 when you get hit

Besides having good ideas like eye tracker, what about an in-game build. Not sure how you will like it, but it consists of Ludo + Parasite + Strange Attractor. It once created really weird physics. I hope it still works 😁
Crooked penny start, and every time you see an item or pickup you have to use it, and can only use it when you are forced to. (Also you will have infinite charges in it and aren’t allowed to drop it.)
here some weird ideas: D8 rock bottom run - a run with the highest damge possible ( like red stew, sacred, poly and rock bottom...) - a run with minus120 tears - try greedier xd - dr. fetus, rocket in a jar, pyromaniac, quad shot(or tainted) and sacred - a run with only 4 items but whichever ( i think I created a word) you want, all I have, maybe later i comment to this comment more stuff :3 keep it up Cas ( also and without pressure, when a livestream on twitch?)
Try to look for berserk + libra + rock bottom, it can give some pretty insane stats, just make sure to kill as much shit as possible
(While ut at it you can get any synergy u want lol)

Collab with someone (or multiple people) and everyone plays tainted lost. Every time someone dies, that person has to D4 their build (or something similar).
Another idea, every time you take damage, you have to use clicker (losts not allowed) >:)

Challenge idea: You find a bunch of cursed/meme/skin changing mods (Bestia, cat coins, among us hearts, tinted rocks replaced w smth stupid, etc.) to the point where it`s literally just memes. Then you do a run with Tainted Lost or some tryhard character.

Most of us play Isaac firing tears with the right hand and moving the character with the left, right? So, what could happen if you reverse your hands and totally destroy your muscular memory?

idea: non-usual combos like ludovic with trinkets or some cursed eye synergy. Maybe the best way to achieve this is gulping trinkets. Just an unconventional build, so no brimstone, soy, csec, tech...

Hey Lavencas, I've really enjoyed your vids. And I didn't think I'd ever watch a soundless BoI vid. But here I continue to be. I'd be.. I don't know if others would be but it'd be nice to see you go through a new save and do all the challenges and gameplay to complete the save. So here's my idea: red key + infinite charges. Any gamebreaks or glitches allowed but you can no longer pick up items past first floor
a run but all the items that can be tainted are tainted by default. another one is have sprinkler as your only way of shooting tears and make it so it slowly charges rather than be room clears.
Dumb challenge idea: tainted issac but you can only have 1 item of each quality (start with 8 chaos to fill inventory, they don’t count towards the one item limit)
