You not back in Bangor ? I know rathmore spar where your folks live. I was in Bangkok in march and chang mai. Bangkok changed since I last there in 1990. For the better. Turkey is nice not been where you are now.

Yes, Bangor atm. Been doing Thai delivery here the past few months while housesitting (the folks often disappear on cruises). Normally do 6-months Bangor and 6-months Asia. Best of both worlds. Was in Bangkok most last year as well as Chiang Mai for a month. Yes definitely prefer the city these days. Much cleaner, efficient transport, amazing malls, quirky night markets but still easy to find the craziness and chaos it was well known for before.
