See my other comment on TodayOnline. I knew him irl when i was in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. He talked to me, took a photo with me and told me to pursue my passion and he can picture me in the future as a university graduate. I took his words seriously, will be going NUS after completing my NS. Never did i thought, the first and last time i see him irl is in my poly years.

I guess Mindef probably knew the dangers that lurk in these cabins but they won't want to do anything about it because it would cost them lots of money to remod or scrap and build a safer model. And that's because NSmen's lives are still cheaper than scrapping the faulty model?

I didn’t know much about him until now, but even so his death hit me really hard. He had a bright future ahead of him with his career and even a family. It’s really saddening that he was taken away at such a young age.

Had the opportunity to work with him on a shoot last year. He was professional, kind to the staff and really seemed to care about his craft. Really saddened by the news. RIP and somebody has to be held accountable. There has been far too many NS accidents and nobody is held responsible!

Death shouldn't be a thing people mourn in pain for. It is painful losing a loved one as they're not beside you no more, but knowing he is in a better place waiting for you at the other side. Be happy that he is forever at rest and not facing the difficulties that he will face in real life if he's still here with us. I get that us fans are in pain just like his family, and I had went through that feelings of disbelief when a famous Kpop star, Kim Jonghyun, died due to suicide back in 2017. I can say that we should not stay this moody and gloomy, but rather move on and live your life to the fullest before you go on to the other side to join him and your late loved ones.
Edit: Despite my short but seemly long paragraph comment: rest in peace to this young gentleman who tragically died due to a miscommunication in equipment repair. I wish the wellness of his family. Aloysious Pang is waiting for you guys in the distant future to join him at the other side when you had completed your life to the fullest. :')

It's such a tragedy to lose someone so young. Such senseless accidents make people lose faith in the army training.
I guess what life is trying to teach us through Aloysius' death is that life is extremely unpredictable and we have no idea when something is going to happen to us or our loved ones. No one expected him to die during his reservist duties and we all believed he was going to come back to us soon. Therefore, we have to show our appreciation and spend more time with our loved ones while they are still here and while we still can. It is the only way we can live our lives without regrets. Rest in peace, to the actor whom I have known for 6 years, you will be dearly missed.
