    Really loved this video, but as a Brit it is so scary to see stations with no platforms. Climbing up into a train is just unheard of over here!

      Hold-overs from the pre-ADA era. All new construction must be either high level platform or have some form of level boarding.

      @@FanRailer that makes sense, but do the passenger cars have ladders that come out, so you can step up from the platform?

      The cars have traps that are built into the vestibules. If you watch some of my other videos from low level platforms (convent station, etc), you can see those.

    Is there a story behind the MNR livery cab cars?

      Metro north paid for the cars; NJT is contracted to operate metro north west of Hudson service, so the metro north cars can end up on any Hoboken division train since the equipment is in pool service.
