Maybe its me, but yall dont seem like real hip-hop heads like that. The penmanship on this album is absolutely nuts. The album is literally The Death of Slim Shady, the fact yall didnt expect Slim Shady esk raps idk. He made a point in the album that it was like stepping out of a portal in 2000, so yes there are refrences that are more tied to that time. Idk, some hard takes on this one boys
They sound out of touch and not real rap fans. Dude said people thought Revival was great and found out he was thinking Recovery Lol… They said the album was to long? This album was really creative and refreshing when it comes to writing.
I'm one of the ten people that loved Revival (even more than Recovery now) lmao. The production was a mess thanks to Rick Rubin and how different to Em and Dre his "process" is. That being said, the album is full of some of the most fun, most personal, and most conscious lyrics Em has ever written. As for TDOSS being too long, I kinda agree. I would've cut Tobey, moved Head Honcho and Bad One earlier in the album, added a Berman skit near the middle, then ended with the one two gut punch of temporary and somebody save me. It would flow better imo, but who am I to criticize Ems work. He made the project he wanted to, and finally achieved another classic on par with his greatest albums. The rest of the world will catch up and give it recognition in 5 years like they've done with every album 😂
444 is great but it’s 7 years ago. People need to stop acting like it was released yesterday. In the same timeframe, Em released 4 projects. He put himself under the scrutiny more often
I am logged in under my husband and with being said...be critical when all folks do is talk you say what you want but step up in their lives and do what they do! Everyone expects so much when the majority couldn't even compare. It's easy to pass judgement without having his talent or his thoughts.

They are too young for this cuz the whole album as a concept was nostalgic for reasons that his Stans needed as closure and the whole album is an entendres!!! “It was all a dream!!!!” (Biggie voice) and after GC2 it’s like he has ‘Awoke’ and now it’s Em spitting for the rest of it. Also, the concept is basically like Shady came back from 2003, hence his older punches and bars and so forth. C’mon guys, a solid 9-10. The Columbine bars are Shady CUZ HES FROM 2000’s and stuck there!!! Ffs
