I can reach these speeds with one hand on the steering wheel and the car doesn't shake and feels glued on the road.
I also have the performance version which has 340mm perforated brake discs and big brembo calipers so the brakes are really good.

Exciting times: it almost doesn't make a difference anymore what you drive in the 0-200 km/u range. They're all (sufficiently) fast with a GTI badge

My golf R has a gearstick. Front wheel drive isn't going to make up for that. I did look at Leons at the time but I wasn't so keen on the interior and the general spec which they improved on later.

Thinking of buying one with 460 HP, but I got to ask. I know that the little 2L engine is amazing but hows the reliability of the engine after adding 150+ HP and the torque that comes with it?
if you run a hybrid turbo like tte535 with low boost you can easily receive 450-500hp with stock internals.

I'd Choose The Car with a Manual Gearbox but thats just My Opinion.
I've got a Leon Cupra 300 and it's a little beast, i just need to get me some Pilot Sport 4s and sort out the wheel hop before going to stage 1.
For the price I'd recommend getting a lower engine mount insert before tyres. It's an easy install and really helps with the wheel hop. But, I have just put some Sport 4s on mine and it makes such a big difference both in terms of wheel spin and handling. Definitely worth the money imo
Oh nice, i got Cupra aswell (290) and im wondering what is best 2 upgrade first. And i think tyres are good idea, wheel spin is a problem, but sometimes when i take turn 2 fast i feel that car can go faster but tyres cant.
So first tyres and next enginge remap.
I'm driving a 400hp Cupra st performance and swapped the Continental garbage with the Michelin pilot sport 4s and that is a really big upgrade!
Everything gets much better and the car is alot faster

Additional to the GTI, it comes standard with the dynamic chassis control and limited slip differential ;)
And if you have the Cupra performance it has the 340mm brake disks and Brembo calipers from the Rs3 👌
@@nordinmbarki4497 the performance version of the Cupra (called Sub8) has 370 mm discs... And indeed Brembo calipers (I so wish I would have bought a Sub8 version... Especially because of the better seats)

You did, dual injection (most likely less issues with carbon build up) and no OPF or PPF whatever the heck it is called. The particle filter which just generates more issues in the long run and the car sounds boring (new 290s have this filter). You have the best one of the bunch

I had a 1p1 Cupra 360hp on the dyno with 185k km, tuned by me since 40k km and pushed almost everyday... nothing broke.
The EA888 CJXH engines are very durable. A lot of people go with this kind of power over 100k km
Leon Cupra Revo stage 2 400 hp goes 8.68s 100-200. Your cars are always slower than others, maybe that is the sea altitude problem?
