    Watching the Austin put's a smile on my face.

    There is another simple way to make up the hand brake system, with a single cable in a loop joining both rear brake levers, slit a tube and bend it in a half moon to lay the wire loop into it, then use a single pivot welded to it and run a single wire up to the hand brake lever, It does away with balance bar assy....
    Anyway I was dying to see the Lola , hats off to the gear change my friend !!! wowsers that is something else ...congrats with that . I have spoken with the RCR fella ''Buy the stuff and you are on yer own ! goodbye '' There is a lot to do and you need to be a very competant engineer for sure. I had a laugh with the exhaust fumes bit, I need a clear run into the garage park it quick and run for it
    I hope to one day see the Lola at some event ??.
    Cheers .....

      Thanks Bryan! You're probably more likely to the see the Wragg at an event before the Lola.... but it is definitely 'in the queue'!!

    Much as the T70 rep is an impressive if not scary beast, I confess to just loving the Wragg that little bit more. The mix of 30's, 70's and now know how is just so interesting and body wise plain beautiful. Well done indeed.

      @@thebracketfactory there are parallels, both mills being the near ultimate expression of development of the prosaic to perform a function that they were not intended to do.

    I am new to your channel, came over with Bryan's vid. I am a big fan of people like yourself and greatly admire what you do, your work is stunning. There is one thing that makes me uncomfortable however: I am a former miner, who served an electrical apprenticeship and worked underground. All the way through our training and beyond we had regular instruction on the effects of various gasses that may be encountered, particularly carbon monoxide, CO. I also had a friend who ran a garage specializing in older cars, who sadly succumbed to CO poisoning one very cold day about 20 years ago. He was a man who could be relied upon to always do things right, which is why it still sits with me that his one very rare mistake was fatal. I don't know if you have shown previously your extraction system, but could you please reassure me that you have one. I can then watch your vids with comfort. Sorry if I appear to be a pain, but I am sure you will understand.

    • @thebracketfactory
      @thebracketfactory  Před 2 měsíci +2

      I completely understand! I very rarely start any of the cars in the garage and when I do I 'evacuate' for a couple of hours afterwards! Another hazard is welding... I learnt the hard way with that one (the gasses given off are horrendous) so now I have an ESAB helmet with a filter attached... MUCH better!!

      @@thebracketfactory Thank you for the reply. I felt sure you would know and understand. I used to have 2 MGBs and they were pretty noxious, even out side my garage.
