I bet the music industry was scared of them after this song. There were breaking free from the traditional Kpop scene already. They were on path to be unstoppable.💜
that’s true. BTS made a song that broke the prejudice, and ARMY supported them. And now they made history.💜
There is this iconic Kpop style, but its amazing and each is amazing to their own. Kpop in general is known to mix a lot of styles and each artist is unique and talented in their own right. We cannot invalidate the hardships and struggles that other groups have went through to become famous in the globally popular Kpop industry. BTS Is amazing and so are other groups. There are a lot of groups and artists in Kpop that have been talking about stuff and emotions that have never even been talked about in human society. This is why I think Korean music resonates with a very diverse group of people.
As a foreign Army myself and after learning a bit more about South-Korea I realized how much freedom I have a student living in Europe. How so many things I take for granted are much harder for students there. I became an Army in 2015 after listening to I need U and the song Tomorrow. But even over here, what BTS discusses in their lyrics cannot be easily found in Western music. They really are unique. It was really nice to see an adult's perspective on their powerful lyrics and really sweet to see you guys discover their music together.

I am an Army since 2013 predebut, im from Florida in the usa ! Bts went through so many hardships with the whole industry against them 🤧 i used to cry alot , Army also got bullied alot too i heard alot of stories from karmy ...it used to be bts's wish for army to one day be able to proudly scream out that they are a fan of 방탄소년단 !! 😢 i recommend watching the video why bts is Treated UNFAIR in korea 🤧🤧💜 i also recommend reading bts's book beyond the story to hear their hardships through their eyes

Can you also react to Am I wrong? There's no music video to it but, I just want to recommend this because this is probably one of the most political song they created in their entire discography. It was created in 2016 during the presidency of the former president. This was difficult to perform especially in shows and due to the political circumstances back then. Glad they are brave enough to performed it. And also, spine breaker. They created the mv for fun but the lyrics are deeper. 💜

I am from India. Here also there is the same situation of education system. There are many loopholes in our education system. Especially caste discrimination in education field. Every year many students attempt sucide in the burden of education system. There is a very good bollywood movie called "3 Idiots" which questions on Indian education system. I think that movie is pretty popular in S.Korea, China and Japan.

not to mention the increasing popularity of cram schools in India...
all ppl say is just get past this exam. this college exam, this interview then ur life will be set

보면 볼 수록 왜 방탄소년단이 데뷔하고 얼마나 힘든 길을 걸었을지 예상이 되어요. 대중들 그리고 저까지도 많은 편견을 가진 사람이고 그런 것들이 당연하고 정상적이라고 생각했을거예요. 그런 사회에 팩트를 날리는 아이돌그룹이라.. 곱게보지않았을거같아요.. 그런 그들을 지지해준 아미들 진심 존경하고 대단합니다💜
고2 자녀를 둔 엄마로 이 노래를 첨 듣고 얼마나 울었는지..저녁에 들어온 딸 아이에게 미안하다고 하지만 어쩔수 없이 할수밖에 없다고 얘기를 나눴던 기억이 있네요
