I was diagnosed with systemic lupus a while back. Her teachings and products are the reason I have NEVER had to stay overnight in the hospital. MANY medical specialist (I've seen them ALL), have asked me what I am doing when they see images of my organs. I'm not on any medications & they can't find/see a thing. So thankful for her work. I would b so sick without it.

I had the book years ago, was married, living in Missouri, never read the book. Now divorced, a nurse, diagnosed with what they say is am incurable disease, in NYC helping with the pandemic. Thanks Queen, I lost 45lbs of waste in 3 months, just by going planted based. I drink alkaline water only. My stomach feels way better. Processed food is a killer! I do not eat meat, just started eating “certain” wild caught fish. However, greens and herbs are saving my life.. More energy and not allowing the hustle and bustle of life to cause me to make bad food choices, as a field worker. If I’m in the field and get hungry, I will get a banana and bottled water, as my mind has taught my body when and when not to eat. Hydration, water does help control hunger.

She’s legit. When I changed my diet to more vegetables and earth based, and when I began to intentionally heal from past traumas, my period went from 7 days to 3. Now, I’m working on consistency so that the cramps can go away completely. Diet is everything.

In 2009 I was laid off and I wanted to work in Health and wellness at the time the economy wasn't so great. Queen afua was looking for interns I immediately applied and was hired. The best thing I ever did working with her. Queen afua she is filled with knowledge and a great human.

This is so interesting because all through school and life growing up we were taught a period cycle lasts 5-7 days and is normal. But I believe her that it’s wrong because I hurt so bad when I get my period.

I wear my waist beads, crystal earrings, crystal necklaces, bangles, and anklets. I use color therapy everyday. As a Afro woman, I feel in tune with the beauty that GOD the Most High has blessed me with.

My mother was an herbalist. I grew up vegan mostly..vegetarian sometimes. She healed a friend of cancer by juicing. Now I have a friend with heart disease..and Im scared for her. But life is about choices. I'm getting back into herbalism..and holistic living..I'm grateful for this interview. I met this Queen when I was 19 years old! I studied her knowledge and it helped me. She is a goddess, and we need her guidance.
I suddenly suffered from Asthma at age 27 after a summer in Spain where everyone smoke cigarettes everywhere including the hallways, cafeteria, library & computer lab of the university I attended. I researched herbs, nutrition & lifestyle & healed myself.
Omg that was me so happy 2 say I am so much better started trying smoking 4rm going there and S. Korea

I love that this book was primarily created for African-American women, to heal their wombs and tap into their feminine energy. As an African-American woman who is a second-generation Sacred Woman practitioner, I am blessed that my mother introduced me to Queen Afua.

As an American Black/Brown woman, Queen Afua has assisted in my mental, physical, and spiritual healing. The Sacred Woman's book is good for American Black women regardless of their religion. I know some American Black women can be hesitant to read the Sacred Woman because they come from different religious backgrounds but you can use this book to help you grow closer to your Womanhood. As a Christian woman, the Sacred Woman's Book helped me to honor, embrace, and celebrate my Womanhood, Womb, Beauty, Creativity, Feminine Energy, and Femininity. The Sacred Woman's book and journey helped me to love myself unconditionally and set high attainable standards for myself.
This woman is wise and knows her stuff. Western medicine doesn’t make you better. Trust and believe. People, do your research and be natural and healthy. Trust me. Everything she says is spot on...personal experience
The people who dislike this don't want to be healthy or cleanse. They are very unhealthy and is negitivness on life. This was very good.

She speaks so much truth. A few years ago I was having the worse menstruals, I was pre diabetic, and had fibroids. Of course the doctors recommend surgery for the fibroids and birth control for the heavy painful periods. I declined, I began changing my diet (was vegan for a year) and exercising again...My menstruals improved naturally. I purchased her book a few weeks ago.
I’m sure doctors told you at some point that losing weight and exercising would help you. This lady isn’t saying anything new. Doctors have been telling people to change their diet for years, and they don’t do it until they are chronically ill. Then some charlatan comes along preaching veganism and you finally choose to change your diet, and the charlatan gets the credit when your health improves? Why didn’t you listen to your doctor the first time? That just makes you stubborn, it doesn’t mean that this woman knows something your doctor doesn’t. The reason a lot of doctors just straight to surgery or medication is because people don’t listen when it comes to adapting healthier lifestyles, and drastic options have to be considered.

Queen Afua doesn’t claim to reinvent the wheel as she herself talks about being a student of life and healing. She is sharing her testimony of how it benefitted her and her family. This doesn’t make her a charlatan. Clearly there’s some toxicity inside of you that needs a detox.

This is how I want my future kids to look at me and it's even more powerful seeing him admire his mother at the age he is.
Even though he has probably heard all this, it's as if he is hearing it all for the first time, so focused and in tune with his mother's words.
This is the bond I seek and will be patient to acquire, for no man on this earth will pressurize me into bringing into this world the greatest gift God blesses us with, prematurely. No man will treat me in a way that will illude me into thinking a child will save the bond or relationship, then bringing a whole child into the world for the wrong reasons.
I will take my time, do it right for the best interests of the child, and heal myself first.
I want to give my children a chance, and I can do that no matter the mistakes I make, I will endure the pains of a man, but I will not expose my future children to anything I can actively protect them from.
I want to bring children into this world, with the intention to do so, when I am ready.
I still have control over this dream, and it feels damn good. ☺️😁❤️
