Not trying to be sarcastic, but I wonder how many guys Mick Jones had to audition before he found this singer? He can cover the song well. I'm still a Lou Gramm fan, but I can appreciate this guy .
Mick actually produced a karaoke tape for singers to record to and picked Kelly out of the submissions. I don't know how many submissions there were but I read somewhere that when he and the rest of the group were listening to it he said that they had to pick this guy.
I call this lineup "Foreigner: A Tribute to Foreigner." Everyone is young except Mick. Well, I know the singer Hansen from the 80's band Hurricane. Anyway, this does kick ass and I like it and will always go see them. The sad thing is when Mick can't play due to health issues, there's 0 original members. It is what it is. I'm glad the music is still getting played.
The bassist's name is Jeff Pilson from the 80's hair metal band Dokken. The guy is a born entertainer and kills it even to this day. However Mick is nothing compared to jeff's old guitarist he used to shred with
I had the good fortune to see Foreigner at bad bruckenau in germany back in 2012 i think. I live in berlin and happened to be working down south. It was the first gig of a short tour. Tell you what. It was absolutely brilliant and what a frontman Kelly Hansen is. it was outdoor too. That guy is for me one of the best ever rock singers, and up there with the best
Well, it's a cover band now you're right, ...... but a well rehearsed cover band (lol). It could be worst really, but they manage to produce some kind of positive vibe playing life and Kelly manage to cover not too bad LOU's greatness. The drummer is quite good (don't know his name) and Mick Jones looks funny ha ha ha ha !!
I love Kelly Hansen's singing ♥️ To me he is great 👍 He is my favorite singer. I love Hurricane and Unruly Child both. Although Can't Slow DOWN is my favorite Foreigner CD ❤️ Kelly and Mick Jones coworte 10 of the 13 songs on it. I love all the songs on it ❤️ Rock on Foreigner. Love all you guys ❤️

Much better than Lou live. This guy has a much deeper voice, but pulls off the high notes like a pro. The younger Lou is good, but his voice is high through the whole song. The current Lou needs to retire to old.
