For me I loved 1st law but I keep putting off the stand alones because I’ve heard they’re not great, and that you can’t read the 2nd trilogy without reading them.. I will one day though! It just feels like a big slog in my way 😂

It warms my heart to no end to see just how much you’ve connected with Sun Eater, which is truly a modern masterpiece of a series (all the books!).
I’m not a big fan of that pretentious pseudonym Benjamin Liar printed just as big as the book title. I’m gonna pass on that one on those petty grounds 😅
I also “only” read 7 books this month, but that’s fairly high for me lol. It was “only” 3100 pages, also fairly high for me 😂

Agreed about Ninth Rain, the world was fascinating but did not like the writing or the story at all.
