Mike Teets my IT-425 starts on 1- kick !! Choke on, rock bike back/forth 2x, set piston at TDC, boom starts on 1 kick !! Then i hold up 1- finger to all my fans watching!!! I use VP-C2 which may help !! And i ride her almost daily!!!
That's absolutely awesome 😈 back in the mid 90s when I was like 5-6 y.o. my dad put an rd250 motor in a blaster chassis and that thing was scary for that time lol my brother and his buddies all ended up hurt by it at some point 😂
That thing must be a blast to ride. Squirrelly as hell with the geometry of the blaster, being very narrow all the way around. Maybe widening it all the around would help, I donno. Reminds me of a Tecate4 a buddy made with a KX500 stuffed into it.
Yz .. Always had a bad wrap !! But they loved them in the 90z in my hood especially the 490s wit the big bore kits it’s smoked ATK !! For 5k a race in the early 90s I seen it .. Only Yz! For me !!

I wonder how long the chassis and mounts will last with that engine. The 490 motor in the dirt bike will rattle your soul out of your body,I couldn’t imagine how it rattles in a blaster
The pipe is Restricting so much power is on two strokes the pipe allows gases the bounce back into the motor that’s why they’re shaped all weird like that you fox that and jet it up Itl be nasty nasty then it could mess with a banshee but not the way it is
A cr 500 has more bottom end then a banshee stock for stock but if your talking about a hopped up banshee that's a different story period and yes this is coming from someone that's a 1990 cr 500
@@justincasey_grabbederpussy6756 I own a YZ490- I know how much they vibrate in stock condition. I got my crank microbalanced and now its silky smooth and picked up some top-end revs as well.
Guys never do this because the older 490/500 engines are not counter balanced and it will vibrate ur hands and motor mounts and frame will crack and bolts will fall off every ride even with loctite I done these builds and there horrible!!! U can do a trike 500 build and be fine but don’t do atv because you’re hands and feet will go numb in 5 minutes and it vibrates so much it’s unsafe
Thats why you get the crank microbalanced. My YZ490 is the smoothest bike in my garage now. My 2 CR500s and especially my KX500 are all getting the same treatment when its time to rebuild the cranks.
I hate the way people try starting 2 strokes...if you kick it over slow and prime the cylinder they will start so much easier
