  • Ghana President silence Journalist call for LGTB law during Kamala Harris visit. During a news conference, Kamala Harris was asked if she planned to promote LGBT rights during her upcoming tour, particularly in Ghana where a bill is currently under consideration that would significantly limit those rights. Kamala Harris replied that she had raised this issue and felt very strongly about supporting freedom and equality for all people, and that LGBT rights were a matter of human rights.
The proposed bill in Ghana would criminalize being gay, bisexual, or transgender, with existing laws already punishing gay sex with up to three years in prison, though no one has been prosecuted in years. The new bill would extend prison sentences and require people to undergo "conversion therapy" to change their sexual orientation. While public hearings on the bill began in 2021, it is uncertain when it will be put to a vote.
When questioned about the bill, Akufo-Addo clarified that it was not official government policy but had been proposed by lawmakers acting in a private capacity. He added that the country's attorney-general had submitted views on the constitutionality of various provisions in the bill to a parliamentary committee examining it. He expressed confidence that Ghana's parliament would demonstrate sensitivity to human rights issues and the feelings of its population and respond responsibly to the proposed legislation, as it had done in the past.

Now in my country homossexuality was not legal because there never been amemds to homossexual laws as it never been a general concern. While it was a crime, no one ever been in jail or court for it they always lived freely till 4 years ago when they added laws to secure homossexuals integrity as humans. U say it well dictate! Don't come complain when same government dictates over your anger when your rights get attacked like the right for expressiom the law enforcement starts killing ppl in your country for standing againts them. Remember that's why God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah also flood the earth during the time of Noah. We must never fear any sanctions, punishment or suffer that comes from the anti-Christ government, only God's judgment to be feared. We shall choose to suffer and die as Martyr than renounce the law of God. Save yourself, your children and your family from the beast. Persecution is coming soon. Let us enjoy dying for Jesus Christ. What is African values and Respect. Colonial expired ideals. People need to stop claiming Africanism when Africans apart from tribes are protected groups are nothing but ex colonials who who don't want to drop the chains n know nothing but serving a master. 1st step into our ways is to reclaim African religion n spirituality instead of being christians. Christianism is the descend of the slavery, racism, world desorder, genocide n every single problem we face Globaly. Ppl in Africa say that god is the way n christianism n that black religion n cults are evil. But do assume that is to say that slavery was right n we are a piece of the devil n that white ppl come to save us with the bibble. So people in Africa need to start making those questions instead of blocking themselvs to knowledge. Other thing is, we dont dress up in a african way at least in most of Africa. Ppl say homossexuality is europeam but in fact it's been around everywhere since ancient times, n the act of homossexuality being a crime was introduced by the colonial christians followed by the intercections of race religious believes. N is not that difficoult to understand this, just look at european hustory. 1st they destroyed n conquered europe in name of christ burned all them women calling then pagans by inquisitiom then they moved to the rest of the world to do same. African ways were considered pagans like old europe n peoole were killed acused of devil pacts.

Promoting sexuality in public and institutional spaces is not a human right. Your sexuality is tied to your privacy, so keep it at home and nobody will care. The problem is when you are trying to have conversations about your sexuality in public and institutional stages to the point of having an impact on the youth, when you have marches and parades over your sexuality, when you believe that the world embracing your sexuality is a human right. I'll repeat: discussing and embracing ones sexuality it is NOT a human right and should not be the priority of any governmental body, in fact ensuring that individuals keep their sexuality private to should be the priority of a government.

Gay people should reject transgender woMENs fascism.
In other words, the LGB community must divorce the QT and rest of the alphabet.
A good reason for gay people's needing constitutional support is a basic need for assurance that hate crimes (beating, murder) is not sanctioned by the government.
I never thought that in my lifetime I would have to again fight for gay people's basic safety.
Everything changed when transwoMEN started making ludicrous demands and statements about their own status as "women" -- penis and all. And of course as you say these appalling public parades and narcissistic media appearances.

True, they don’t force it on them because most of these nations are Islamic and Russia is not Americans’s toy for them to play with.

They do on Iran, there is literally thousands of sanctions on Iran for so called "human rights" one of them being this. They've literally have a sponsored media group to propagate against Iran by some anti-government Iranians that live in US and Canada and some other places.
Africa is only in the beginning of poking these hegemonic western countries like the US, Iran has been dealing with it for more than 40 years now.

In ancient Greece the courts had to make a ruling that men must procreate with women to save the population decrease. Ancient Greece was the foundation of western civilization and a very fruity one at that. In fact, “lesbian” comes from a lgbt Greek woman writer who fantasized about women on the Greek island of Lesbos. “Platonic relationship” came from Plato’s idea of a “perfect” relationship which was between a man and a boy. In fact, the word gymnasium was a place where older men wrestled with young teenaged males while naked. This is why any place you work out at is called a gym. *Run* far away from these people to save your lives and your butt from severe violation.

The relationship that Ghana has with the US isn't the same as the US and Uganda. Uganda has a long history of human rights issues going way back, and their latest law is just another addition to that list. Uganda will hurt its citizens in the long run. Just not long ago, China was on the verge of seizing Uganda's airport. But they are worried about who is loving who.
