I have the Quadlock with vibration damper thing. I broke an old Pixel phone with the Rockform in the past. Apparently, it's the optical stabilization that gets wrecked from the vibrations.
I use a rubber ram ball and arm, the phone shakes a lot at stop (Harley) but smooths out once moving. The shaking is not hard mount vibration but larger movement shaking, I'm not sure how that would translate on these higher revving engines. Gives me some pause though, I wouldn't want to wreck my phone on the bars. Thanks for sharing.
A lot of phone cameras don't like vibrating. Their mounts work on bicycles and cars, but that's it. Just throw your phone in your riding jacket pocket, use a Sena or Cardo, never look back! Plus, keeps you from looking at the phone 😂
I've got quad lock but I don't use it so can't coment 🤣.. How are you finding the remap as I've got mine booked in. The bike sounds really aggressive now ? .I could hear the difference.
Hey mountain. I have the same bike and looking to upgrade just like what you did. Would you be kind enough to drop me a line on the parts you have chosen to put on. The air filter I want to get rid of and run the velocity stacks. What brand or kit did you use for that. Also I’m running a power commander and can only do so much with that. I live in California and I want to open ecu so I can get more out of it. So I will send Chris if they do work from California. Would you know about that. I’ve dropped him a couple lines to try and find out but I bet ya he is pretty busy. You got some good gains out yours am looking to do same thing. Congrats on your gains. Thanks David
Thanks David. I installed a Stage 2 DNA air kit. Basically just velocity stacks enclosed in a huge filter. You could almost certainly mail your ecu to Chris and get it flashed.
@@MTNPANTS hey mountain, well I took your advice and got a mgp exhaust with virtually no restrictions,got the commander 5 and an auto tune, stage 2 dna filter system. And sent my ecu to Moore mafia flashed it and total stunning difference. I am 6’1 235 ex bodybuilder so I’m at a loss right off the start. Most of the guys are on sport bikes and weight a 100 pounds less then me. The last ride I didn’t tell them I got ecu flashed and was able to keep up with them for the first time and I finally had to tell them that I got the ecu flashed. They were mad at me till I bought them breakfast. Haha. Next step I would like to put a turbo on it and I going to need it tuned for the turbo. I use to ride a hyabusa with stage three turbo from what was then Mr. Turbo ( not in Bis. Anymore ) it was 15 years ago. The guy who bought it from me was so excited he forgot to the additive in the gas tank and blew it up on the way home. He punched it out to 1450 cc and was not beat on the track for a couple of years. I can truly endorse and recommend your brothers work 100 %. Thanks for the tips. David

Try Quadlock if you are still in the market of wanting an phone mount. They have an vibration dampener that eliminates this problem.

My iPhone got the same issue twice, 12 pro; quad lock with the anti vibration helped a lot
