Oh, just a word of advice when using roses like that, if you soak them in resin before pour the resin in there, it will cut down on the air pockets… like dip your rose over and over again and then put it in your mould… then fill up like normal … it’s helps soooo much…..
Great tutorial, thank you so much for sharing your tips! 🤗 The Elmer glue to prevent overflowing sticking to your piece is brilliant! 🤩 Ohhh and the one you kept for yourself is my favorite too!!! ❤️😍❤️
Your stoppers turned out BEAUTIFUL!!!!! That rose is just gorgeous…. I’m making a set for my brother and his wife,,, they are wine and beer drinkers …. I’m also making some bottle, openers to go with the bottle stoppers…. I may make a bottle holder as well but I’m not sure… thanks for posting this… I ve been going through and watching a bunch of different ones to get different ideas on what to put in the moulds…..
Great video. I like ur idea of using resin to attach the stoppers. I have been using B700 and a few have detached not sure if the faces were sanded flat enough but with the resin it seems that i would not need to have a perfectly flat face. Have you had any issues of the stoppers detaching after they cures?
No one has complained. I sold a lot and have given a lot to my family members. Resin attaches to resin best... I also test them. They are strong. So far, so good. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks so much for your compliment. And no, I haven't. But if you had the right attachment/hardware, it would be the same process. Thanks for watching.
I love these but it's a hit or miss as my resin sometimes does its overflow in closed in molds. I've destroyed several of these molds trying. Any help or suggestions are very helpful.
I love your creations. I've been wanting to do same, but I can't seem to find roses like the ones you found. Where can I buy the same size roses you are using?

Great advice indeed!! I'm discovering this with my larger globe molds... those gave me some trouble with bubbles.
This is great! Just made mine last night! Thank you now I know how to finish them❤
@@kandycebryson4212 you’re welcome! Glad it helped!
I never thought of that but it will also probably make it heavier and it won't float, yes? no?
@@LynnLight yes, they won’t float up if you dip them first… it will make them heavier…
Great tutorial! Thank you! They came out beautiful!

Yes, mix your resin according to the directions, then use to attach the cork. Thanks for watching.

Love your work! These are beautiful well done. Have you ever done resin door stops?
Thanks so much for your compliment. And no, I haven't. But if you had the right attachment/hardware, it would be the same process. Thanks for watching.

can you use artificial flowers?
Thanks. I don't see why not, but I personally never have tried them.
I love these but it's a hit or miss as my resin sometimes does its overflow in closed in molds. I've destroyed several of these molds trying. Any help or suggestions are very helpful.
Try a new resin and do not apply heat!! No flame or heat guns.
Where did you get the mold n cork. Great job
They were gifted to me, but they are from Amazon.
I love your creations. I've been wanting to do same, but I can't seem to find roses like the ones you found. Where can I buy the same size roses you are using?
I'm not sure. These were from my grandfather's funeral service. Maybe a flower shop or a grocery store would have some small fresh ones..?
Hi new subbie great video they came out beautiful ,can u say where u got the metal stoppers plz n thnx❤
Thanks for subscribing. So they came with the mold. But you can buy some on Amazon. My sister bought me this, so I don't have the exact link..
Do you find the glue holds. My husband is afraid they are going to come apart.
I use 2 part epoxy to attach them, no glue. No issues so far.
Bellissimi❤anche io ho preso lo stampo,li farò in questi giorni...quanta resina occorre per uno stampo?
I don't understand. It's not translating. Sorry.
Where did you get your molds and corks?
My sister ordered these from Amazon.
Where can I get the silicone molds?
Amazon should have them
I, like you, use 5minute 2 part epoxy…. That way I don’t have to wait 24 hours for it to cure :) and it’s super super super strong!
That's a great idea!! Thanks for sharing with us.
Where can we purchase the 91% alcohol? Is it rubbing alcohol?
I buy mine from Dollar General..
Isopropyl Alcohol
Where did you get the molds
My sister gifted them to me, from Amazon
Did you use dried flowers? If so how did you dry them?
Yes, you need to use dried flowers, or they will rot. I dried them myself with silica gel.
Did you use deep pour resin?
No. Let's Resin, their normal 1-1 ratio
