Glad you enjoyed it😀😀💜
I love the spookyness the colours bring to these! I haven't had a chance to test this technique yet, also because I don't have baby lotion, but now I might give it a go with my lotion for extra dry skin 😂.
anything is worth a try right?? 💜
I watch Daniel's videos as well. He's amazing.
I love what you created here. Wonderful job,Wendy ❤
I felt like dancing along with your skeleton friends😅 😅
😀😀 you should have done 😀😀💜👍
Wow beautiful love this platter worth watching
Thank you so much 🤗💜
I've been following Daniel as well. Love his examples. I've started to experiment with store brand baby lotion. While I am sorry that yours' turned white, it was good to see that not everything has that same effect, Thanks for showing you stencils! They are very pretty.
You are so welcome! 😀😀 I think it’s good to try all different things and to share with others 😀😀💜
The end result was worth the struggle. It turned out gorgeous! 😍 Can't wait to see you experiment with this technique again, with the proper lotion next time, hopefully, lol. 😅👍
Thank you so much! 😀😀 I will definitely be doing more 😀💜👍 and yes the proper way 🤭😂
Wendy, love your hat its perfect. I have yet to try this baby lotion craze, but I will get to it. Great video as usual.
😀 thank you so much 😀💜
id thought about doing the picture thing under the mould,😃 but now you have said it i think i will try it
Aww yes you should 😀😀 have fun 😀💜
Shared. How cool is this effect! It looks icy. For a minute I thought a chemical reaction happened after you used a cream from your doctor LOL. These turned out amazing. Love the colors too. Have a great week 🖤
Thanks for watching! And sharing 😀😀😀 it’s not a medicated cream so no steroids 😂😂 but at least I got there in the end 😀💜
I love this technique as well and also watch vie videos from Daniel. Will continue too experiment. 😃👍
Fantastic 😀😀 have fun 💜
Absolutely adorable ❤
Thank you so much 😀😀💜
love what you did Wendy :)
Thank you so much 😀💜
Loved the halloween themed animation wow ❤
Thank you 😀😀😀 I love doing it 🤣🤣😀❤️
@@Toonpish continu youre good at it and love your work ❤️
Hi Wendy. I have tried Daniel's little trick with a very thick hair conditioner and UV resin, with passable results. Only on small heart pieces , and didn't quite get the little 'tree' that he managed to get , but the trick did work. I used the resin right after applying the conditioner, and cured right away so I have no idea what would have happened if I had left it overnight. I haven't tried using a stencil, but that is in the very near future now that my coaster molds have arrived. I have finally worked up the nerve to try regular resin. I have the starter kit from Let's Resin, and plan to give it a go this evening.....wish me luck!
Good luck Pauline 😀😀😀💜 have fun and remember that every little mistake is a learning curve 😀😀💜💜🥰
Great ❤ Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊 🎃💀
Those are really nice.
Thank you so much 😀😀💜👍
Love what you do Wendy.. would like to see more of them.. can i ask where you had your logo stamp made? Thanks for all the inspiration
I’ll link the video for it and in the details are were I got it from 😀😀

🎉This was so cool 😎 😊
Thank you so much 😀💜💙
LOVE IT 😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤
Thank you Tammy 😀😀💜
That was a great video to watch (at 3.49 am) lol brilliant ❤❤❤
So glad you enjoyed your night time viewing 😀😀😀
Wow!! I had already seen Daniel's demonstration of this technique so I knew what you were going for but when I heard you were using an eczema cream I laughed! Because I've been given a kenalog steroid cream in the past for eczema myself and all I could think of is what the active ingredient might do to the overall effect. (Assuming it was a steroid cream you were using lol) But surprisingly, aside from the whiteness when it dries, the effects compared to Daniel's were quite similar! I love what you did with this! I hope someday to tackle a larger piece. So far I've only used UV resin so I focus on jewelry... but maybe one day I will attempt something to this scale! Either way, the technique will work on a small scale anyway so I appreciate these experiments! Absolutely lovely spooky results! ♥
Thank you so much. Actually the cream is steroid free, it’s just for dry skin really but prescribed as it’s not over the counter stuff.
Had more or less similar ingredients, which is why I thought I would try it 😀😀😀 but thank you so much ❤️
EEEEEK! A witch!!!!! (Love your video, your enthuasiam, your attitude! Thank you!)
Yay! Thank you! 😀😀😀 so glad you enjoyed it 💜💜
Beautiful ❤
Thank you 😀💜
You should do more fantasy diorama tables, like the one you did with the dragons, with the figures below: a kraken sinking a galley, an army battling an ice dragon on top of a mountain, or a wizard fighting a fire demon.
D&D fans will pay a hefty price to play on those resin tables while they see such epic fantasy scenarios from above.
😳🤔🤔🤔😀 I think you have a good point 😀😀 if only I had the time 🤔💜💜💜
It is good to know that other lotions do work.
Absolutely 😀😀💜
Daniel Cooper is fantastic ❤
He definitely is 👍
I really like them so much!!! It would be cold to dye the lotion so if there is some residue left it would look more like smoke than dust… great job!!! ❤❤❤
Great idea!! 🤔🤔😀 might consider that 👍😀
I don’t know about this lotion, but the baby lotion didn’t do well with dye because someone suggested that to Daniel. I was so hoping
@@lechatbotte. 🤔🤔🤔 might have to try 😀😀
love ❤❤
Thank you 💜💜
Wow, what a good technique - again, another great show - might have a go 😂
It’s lots of fun 😀💜
As a quilter I hadn't really thought about the xtool for my hobby... Until I saw your stencils and I immediately had so many ideas flying through my brain😂 Now to see about finding something 2nd hand lol
I’m sure you will find it very useful 😀😀💜
Vinyl cutting machines work too.
My brother scan n cut has a lot of applique features as well as quilting patterns and special rotary blades for cutting fabric.
@@jodimarie379 sounds great 👍
I think it would be neat to try a screen print stencil. Might work with the lotion, but not sure. You get a fine mesh and stick vinyl over it. I like those stencils better because you can have "unconnected" pieces. Then you scrape your paint (or I think you could pounce ink or mica) and lift.
Incredible results. And I really think that this idea Daniel came up with is really great when you low on money but I think the better option for something like this (especially such large stencils) is liquid latex or silicone. Its way easier you can do the outline, let it dry and fill it in and it won't smear that easy. And afterwards no wipe cleaning needed, just pull it off. Of course it costs a little bit more but still affordable. I use it quite a lot
It sounds like you have your method sorted 😀😀 does it mark the moulds at all 🤔🤔
Pva glue is an idea too 🤔🤔
Oh the cogs are turning now 😀😀💜
@@Toonpish yes I love experimenting to find the easiest way because when I need something done I can be very lazy so I always trying something new (and sometimes crazy). Brings a lot of errors but sometimes it works.
The latex doesn't affect the mold. The silicone seems to depend on what kind or it had something to do with the technique or the heating. But it hasn't affected the pour after that. And yes I also tried pva glue but this was my least favorite option. Way harder to peel off
I agree about the liquid latex, that's what I have used in the past. Plus it is very therapeutic to remove it. I still haven't tried the body lotion technique, but I'll probably give it a go, once my hefty bottle of latex is used up x
They are so beautiful! Will you use your prescription or get off the shelf lotion for the next try? Thank you!❤
I got some baby lotion now 😀😀💜👍
I was wondering if something other than baby lotion could be used--now we know!
I’m sure there are many more products too 😀😀💜
I will have to watch this after I get home… sitting at the doctor's office waiting to get my daughter seen for her post-op appointment…
Hope everything goes okay 💜
@@Toonpish yep, she was all healed up! The doc looked in her mouth and then looked over at me and then back in her mouth and says to me, "if I didn’t know I had just operated on her 2 weeks ago, I would have thought this kid hadn’t been cut! Her wounds are completely healed. There isn’t a single piece of evidence that she just underwent an operation. Aside from the missing tonsils of course!" I said. "well, that’s a good thing!" And he replied, "I never had a patient heal this fast after removing their tonsils before. She is cleared to eat and drink whatever she wants. As long as it’s legal,of course lol." He’s such a cool, doctor…
I told Daniel the same thing… hold the button until the light comes on and it will stay on for 2 minutes… just pressing it quickly only gets you the one minute…
I love how these turned out… I have not tried to do any of them Yet…. Have you tried his trick with the tiny drop of clear Elmer’s glue in the uv resin and then dipped with a wire loop?
No I haven’t 😀😀 I have some dip resin kits to use first 🤭😀 thanks honey 💜
I used 5 year old handcream. It worked perfectly well
Fantastic 😀😀💜👍
Hi Wendy great video, do you think the first 2 went funny because they were on the heat mat? It would warm up the cream , love the results of the tray, thanks for sharing ❤❤ xxx
No because all three were on a heat mat 😳😳 I think it’s just because it dried out overnight 😀💜
@@Toonpish ah right I see ❤️ xx
Hi Wendy !
This was cool, thanks for sharing !
I have a few questions …
Where did you find the stencil you used for the largest mould ?
You pointed out some kind of initial signature stamp, where did you find that ?
What is the xtool ? Did you do a video with it ?
Many thanks !
Julie
Canada
Hi Julie 😀😀
I do have a video on the xtool and also the signature inlay. And will link them below.
The design for the stencil was downloaded from creative fabrica which I have subscribed to and there is a link for that below the video.

Have you thought of using a make up blush brush for larger surfaces?
Yes but the make up brushes I’ve used kinda pick up mica and swallows it 😂😂 I’ve ended up using far too much product 😳🤷♀️😀
Hi Wendy, here via Daniel and also Claire, what about copydex??? Dries clear and stinky but would pull off easy. Or PVA? Not sure of the reaction with epoxy though as I'm not a resiner
It’s definitely something worth trying though right 😀😀💜
Love this! It does start to answer a question i asked dan about other creams. The steroids in your cream might have caused the difficulties! I love your platter wendy its beautiful 😊😊
There are no steroids in the cream, as it’s just a dry skin cream although prescribed but you are not alone in thinking that 😀😀 however it did have different ingredients 🤔🤭
Thanks so much 😀💜
@@Toonpish oh sorry sweetie I automatically assumed it was something like betnovate. It's so funny because I went to the gp for some eczema cream and the doctor said you can buy it over the counter, (knowing that she was wrong about steroid cream as it needs to be prescribed) I replied oh you can get betnovate over the counter excellent and she then said oh no you need a prescription for that! (No really!!!) With having a medical background, I am quite aware of things like that!!
I was thinking emollient might be good for that technique as it's thicker and you could almost do it like icing!!
@@spectonkular7510 🤔🤔🤔 well anything is worth a try right? 😀😀😀 I do love to try things out 🤭🤭😂😀
Don’t be sorry honey, I didn’t want to give the name of the stuff out so was trying to explain 😂😂 I didn’t think that people would assume it had steroids in it 😳😬🤭
But it is all good.
And betnovate is my steroid one too 👍😀
How did you make your trademark inlay? did you make a video for how to do that? If you didn’t or you going to? I love your work your Halloween stuff is so cute.
I did!😀😀 I’ll link it for you 😀💜
czcams.com/video/8xpa_XNt9XM/video.htmlsi=xprbBbTWfyeKcbzb
Net time don't wait til the resin is fully cured to add the mica powders.... do it when it's still tacky, this way the mica will adhere to the resin.
Yes I agree 😂😂 but didn’t know I was going to do it till it was cured 😳🤭🤷♀️😀 great thinking 😀💜
OMG amazing, how cool what a neat technique what do you spray the isopropyl alcohol on the two poor resin for? And do you need to do it for UV resin?🌞🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Isopropyl alcohol breaks the surface tension and lets the bubbles out easier.
I don’t use it on uv resin as usually it is very thin 😀😀
Hope that helps
Yes it does help thank you very much my husband and I love💜 this etched look. Thank you🌞🌈
Do you think you could intentionally use the greasy issue for an effect? Like maybe more all over or rabdom layer of the cream dried then black resin then get rid of the grease then cover with Camellon powder then top coat? Or could it be us3d to look like water?
Oh it’s quite thick so I think you could do that 😀😀🥰👍
Heh heh heh…. Loved this! I was right!! It was a fellow Brit with a brand of car for a last name!!!! Hahahahahahaha….. am I good or what? 😂😂😂
😂😂 cleaver indeed 😂😂😀💜
@@Toonpish I just love Daniel… he comes up with the craziest ideas and makes them work! And now he has created UV RESIN PUTTY/CLAY!!!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
😍😍😍
😀😀💜
I wonder if you use a tooth brush and soap and water to clean off the lotion if it would work?
Oh yes definitely 😀😀💜 but in this case the white mark was embedded into the resin sadly 💜
Maybe you could coat your stincle with tacky glue or m
Modgepodge?
I think I will iron it flat next time before I cut it 😂😂
