i just discovered these guys and hermitcraft recently, their friendship and antics in hermitcraft are my absolute favourite and now discovering they are friends IRL watching this brings me so joy

Looking back, it's really quite unfortunate that Minecraft Earth came out around the time of the pandemic. I remember when they first announced it, I thought it was gonna be the next Pokemon Go since Minecraft was at such a high point in its popularity in 2019 and I was looking forward to seeing summer of 2020 being full of people just going around collecting resources for their Minecraft builds and showing each other what they made.
