nice man, i've been working on clean pops and 180s for the last season. Just started hitting larger jumps and flat top rails this year and been diggin up your old videos for help there. thanks!
@@getschwifty7413 set to 9 and felt perfect, they usually pop at the right times (or when i don't want them to lol). obviously I'm no expert but I think it was a combination of landing backseat on the skis, spinning with my legs instead of my hips, and not looking to really stomp the landing with strong legs. I wasn't being super loose but in hindsight i'm sure all those things added up.
Yeah my main issue on landings is being too back seated. Trying hard to pop through it and eye the landing all the way to stay leaning forward. 9 is quite high, I just moved back from 8 to 7. I hope you recover quick!
Just finished a day at Brekenridge and hit all 3 Giant jumps PLUS those 2 Huge inferno jumps!!! Learned 360’s last season but I’m still WAY more confident doing 180’s
Love the channel! Ride my first rail and landed my first 180 off a small pop earlier this season thanks to your help! Few more videos and I'm gonna be landing 360s off jumps in no time.
i can do 180s off of small/med jumps consistantly, any tips for my first 360? I have been landing kind of like an unitentional butter, but bc i would keep turning I dont think it would be a problem?
@@tnezthefrog8113 I think he means that when u land count to 3 before doing anything such as reverting just so u are stable and don’t fall or catch an edge
Wass yo tbot! We’re do you normally ski and you ever been down to 7 springs, timberline, ot wisp. Wisp is my home mountain but they all east coast ski resorts, love the videos btw
Okay so I just noticed that he skis at the same place i do sometimes. Ive watched the channel for about 3 months and it took me till now to notice that he skis in a resort I go to about 4 times a year as a secondary to my normal.
I think I’ve been landing wrong because I hurt my ankle very bad. I don’t know if it was the boots but I just went off a jump straight and landed tans my ankle instantly hurt. Anyone know what happened?
When I ski switch and I'm looking over my right shoulder for whatever reason I like to put my left ski farther down the mountain, and visa versa. Any idea why I do this or how to fix it?
I’ve known how to 180 for about 10 years now but I just watched the video because this channel too good. Keep it up 👍🏻
Any tips you could give out?
I’m 10 and I can 180 and hit jumps
I landed my first 540 on my second attempt but every attempt after I haven’t landed and that was a month ago
