I’m an ‘old guy’ Dan. I first found you when you did “Amazing Grace”. I knew at that moment that I had found a truly amazing voice, the likes of which are unmatched. Your gift is truly from God. As I learn more about you as a man, I’m even more impressed. Why you may ask? I’m old enough to have heard some of the greatest male vocalists in the 20th century. Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s was an incredible experience in the U.S. with regard to music, and rock n roll. So much talent. Each group with their own unique style and sound. Then the ‘big hair bands hit the scene in the 80’s. I’m particularly a rock ballad fan. When the metal gets too heavy, I sort of tune out. Lyrics and beautiful rock melodies are timeless. As you reveal more of yourself, the more impressed I am with you. You’ve got something that a lot of those singers didn’t have; character, integrity, and most of all, I sense that God is present in your life. Continue to be true to yourself Dan, and I’ll continue to listen to your gift with joy.😉🙏🏼

Tabloids live from sticking their noses into private life of people, even of people who don't want that. Some celebs use tabloids to prop up their career, get attention. I am not interested in that. I keep an eye on the politicians rather, they have an impact on my life and wellbeing. I don't care who has children with whom and how many, as long as it isn't a PM, BoJo for example, trying to look like an epitome of honesty, but his career is full of lies and corruption. It is sad that people get dragged into irrelevant stories from glossy magazines, but neglect their future and future of their children, not paying attention what the politicians are doing with their tax money and what policies they are imprementing. Politics may be boring, until you face hars reality that your rights have been taken away and you cannot get justice because you cannot afford a good laywer. That is what interests me much more.

I too found you recently through your recording of Amazing Graze. I am not a metal fan nor am I a religious person but a spiritual person and you have bridged the gap. I found the recording and your talent very moving and you also have widened my view. I did not realize the talent and control it takes to do metal. Well done and keep doing what you are doing. Even if one does not like metal one can appreciate the power and beauty of your voice and your appearance not with standing lol you move people, just beautiful.

I was actually curious about how you, even if there are any bad moments, still are motivational and keep going, do what you love and also make people feel better (by posting quotes on instagram for example or talking about how you have to and you can go through something tough). I've seen many people say things like that but I don't feel like they mean it and even if they do, most of the time, they go through something hard that makes them reach a really low point and because you admire them, you lose faith. But I've never seen someone like you. You somehow make me feel like, "you know what? You can get up and do it. You worry too much. Have hope" and it's trully admiring. I would be very interested in watching a video where you talk about it, with or without personal experience(s). Have an epic day :) (sorry for any grammar mistakes)

I have commented on another video that you have motivated me recently in a way I haven't been in a long time. You brought me back to my metal/hard rock roots and lit a fire I haven't felt in a long time. Thank you for not only bringing us your awesome talent and music, but your wisdom and for staying true to yourself and what you stand for!! A few months ago when I heard you sing, it was like you reached out and took me by the hand to lead me out of the hell hole I was in. Depression is hell place to be, but listening to you sing put a smile back on my face. I lost my son (who was born the same day as you) and I would like to think he would have been just like you full of love, compassion, honesty and charisma. The first time I heard Son of Pain I shed a lonely tear and my heart went out to you. God bless you sweet boy, may life always treat you well, you deserve nothing but the best xx.

Good response to the question about a great love! If it was truly a great love, they wouldn't make you give up your career and dreams to keep the love - you'd be able to have both! I really enjoyed this video and I'd love to see more vlog-style videos like this, especially if the dogs are featured too! I've been following your work for a while and I love your vocal style so much. You flawlessly cover so many different artists and genres and you never cease to amaze. Normally I don't really feel the need to comment on any of your videos since I just keep your music on in the background while doing homework or something. Since this video is a little different and as your newly so-called boss I would like to take the time to let you know that I appreciate the effort that must have gone it this video very much.
The lazy way out would just be sit at the table and answer some questions. Instead you gave us some interesting insights about your life with some great shots in between the questions, loved that part! This made the video very wholesome (hate this word, but only one that is fitting here).
The only thing i'd like to see different is that you would add the music (or video) title to the parts with music, so it would be easier for me to find the entire number. Sorry as casual fan I don't know all of them haha.

It is really nice when you admire someone as much as I admire you, for that person to let us see a little of your life when you aren't performing. There is usually quite a lot of difference between the performing you, and the... hey, it's just me, you lol
It gives you a better fan base too... they love you as both... makes them feel closer to you. Do not get that very much from most entertainers.... of all kinds.

As a Bulgarian, I admit, I thought he's Eastern European as well. Eastern Europeans have that specific accent and somehow Dan speaks veery similar to it, also he looks kinda Slavic, too. :D
