It’s just me because I like a semi enclosed areas but I might move the palm tree next to the chair on the left, my left as I’m watching this. Probably NOT very practical but I think it might make me feel like I’m more in a tropical setting. Again that’s just me and I probably shouldn’t have said anything but…… 🤭🌺💚🙃

Your garden is just spectacular! I love all the turquoise - especially that rug! - and the new furniture is really nice. We're hot and dry in Central Texas. The Highland Lakes are so low. We were hoping for some hurricane rains to fill them up; but, Beryl changed paths and went more easterly, as in Houston. They didn't need any more rain! We're planning to tear out our 30 year old deck and above ground pool that we had put inground 30 years ago. Hoping to replace with a fiberglass pool. I've been busy moving all my plants, rocks, and other landscaping items that I had put in over the years. Just can't bear the thought of everything being trampled by construction. So, I've been moving everything to new beds I've built along one privacy fenceline. It's been a massive job for my 70+ year old body, and the heat is oppressive. Thankfully, I'm almost finished...if there is ever such a thing! 😂
Rooting crawling plants is so much easier if you put the new growth on damp soil and hold it down with a small rock or a bent v-shaped paper clip. Cut and replant after the roots have formed.
Yesterday I saw the Curcumas and Heliconias at Walmart for less than $20. They also have Ixoras and ground Orchids. I purchased a ground Orchid called “Mello Yellow,” because I’ve never seen one before. The leaves look like palm tree sprouts and there are about ten plants in the pot, each with a stalk of buds. I’m looking forward to seeing the blooms.

Just getting to see this video have been out of town visiting family. Man you just hit a home run with this furniture addition. I love the color and the arms on the chairs. The poly might hold up better outside vs wood arms. And the way you arranged all the plants to frame the area is perfect it looks like the perfect cozy conversation area. You’ve definitely taken the whole area to a new level. Congrats!
Hi Jeff 👋 WOW! I LOVE LOVE the new furniture and I think the rug matches nicely!! Everything looks FANTASTIC!! I am here in zone 9b Texas Gulf Coast, we pretty much got a direct hit from hurricane 🌀 Baryl. We all fared quite well (with the exception that I fell and am still in a lot of pain) minor damage here, but, it took down a lot of trees in the neighborhood and we just got electricity back on yesterday (Friday) still many without. Thank you for another wonderful video! You take care and we will see you soon.
The two trunk palm looks fine, it looks lush, maybe you can’t see EVERYTHING individually but as a whole it looks very nice. I do also know that I’m a little eccentric but I like it. And no I don’t have to look at it everyday and if it bothers you maybe you can move a few plants out. I wouldn’t but that’s just me. 🌺💚🙃
Hi Jeff! I LOVE your new furniture! It's so pretty, and I think all of the pieces go really well together. I LOVE the little side tables that you have by the set. They match really well, too. Also, the rug goes really nice with everything. WIN WIN WIN!!!!! Could pull the rug out farther away from the loveseat and over to the right (facing it) some more? That might help center it more. The inflatable ottoman is cute, too. That really did finish off that area, and it looks really nice. Best of all, you're happy with the whole area. It definitely has a beach vibe. I like the sunpatiens over by the other ones with the sweet potato vines. If you have one, I'd add another sweet potato vine in front of the three sunpatiens. I'll bet the kids had a blast at your house with the pool and all of the pets. I'm sure the adults loved the pool, too. It was nice seeing Turbo, Toby, Colby an Pumpkin. Nice!!! That turtle throw pillow is the artist on that Elizabeth Hilaire Nelson??? I know she has a few sea turtle pictures that have been made into pillows. I love the side chair with the lime pillow next to the new lime planter. Oh!!! Thats the first time I've seen the patio camping Tor. turtle outside chomping on things. That floaty Toucan looks guilty I think the giant beach ball and Toucan had one of those There Can Be Only One! Floaty Highlander water moments.

The sea turtle is by an artist from Matlacha, Florida named Leoma Lovegrove. Her art is extremely vibrant and tropical!
I live in Hawaii(wet side of our island) and scotch guard ALL outdoor furniture cushions everything. It wouldn’t last more than a few months without .

Talk about annihilation it seems that one of the squirrels likes my banana tree that I have potted on the deck. The squirrel jumps on it and shreds it with its claws then starts chewing on the banana tree 😡 so frustrating because the leaves always look ugly. I don’t chase it off when I see him but grrrrrrr. 🌺💚🙃
