- Stevie the Chimp Youngster is at the centre of a Chimp Dispute again
The Chimp Troup at Chester zoo are a little unsettled in this video with mum chimpanzee Zeezee defending her young chimp daughter Stevie from Dominant Chimp Dylan, while Stevie stays close to mum clinging to mum on her back. When things calm down and tempers cool, Stevie even has a cheeky little touch of Dylan an annoyed Dylan!

The disputes and displays are quite interesting to watch. I love seeing the females with babies on their backs. 🤩🤩🤩
To: Pamela Kern - Ha, ha! It is nice to see, but personally I wouldn't really refer to them as babies. They both look beyond the age of 'having' to be piggy-backed around.
It is comical how, when the mother noisily retreats, her charge, who remains completely expressionless throughout, at 1:31s. impishly jabs tha 'alpha' on the cheek.

Uh oh! Chimpanzees woke up on the wrong side of the tree. Someone is going to have to lend and olive branch.

Those chimps are crazy. Those berserk shrieks and faces are what is interesting in this enclosure, the disputes are insane too. The hooting, shrieking and showing teeth, almost as if they enjoy the conflict altogether.
When they get going they really mean business. 😮 Thanks so much for watching. 🥰
What am I missing? I saw one brief moment of teeth baring and a tiny bit of noise. "Disputes" are usually much livelier than this. 🤔

I would not like to think about a real dispute. Even the females look strong and powerful.
It is to be hoped that Dylan and Carlos come to an amicable understanding.
