If you enjoyed the quality of this video and want to help support me and the effort I put into creating these videos, you can now give me a SUPER THANKS!!!🙌🏻😍
I'm particularly excited about my videos as I continue to move forward in my CZcams "career". I added some new camera gear to my arsenal and it's really helping me to get the shots I envision more easily and more quickly. If you've been wanting to get into this and don't want to spend a ton of money, you should consider the setup I'm using now. I looked at a lot of gear and am very happy with my final choices!
I also started using Epidemic Sound for these videos and I LOVE it. The right music and sound effects really helps make the overall segment better. You can sign up using the following link: www.epidemicso...
In this video I creatively tackle more of the restaurant booth build I've been working on and it's coming along nicely. As usual, my wife is helping me in any way she can and this time she's putting on the satin finish and she also accepted the challenge of working on the cushions for these booths. I couldn't do any of these projects without her help! ( / @whatsupinthegarden )
I really hope you like the quality and new approach of my vlog posts. I'm still working to find my sweet spot but the new camera gear is really helping me to do just that. Links to tools and camera stuff are below!

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO WATCH ME MAKE STUFF!!! I appreciate you taking a little time out of your day to check out my content. I hope you'll like it enough to give it a THUMBS UP and consider subscribing for more. You guys and gals are the best!
I don't get why you don't have more views. Nice build, and thanks for the work of sharing with us!
Who Cares thanks so much, i really appreciate that! I get a little discouraged when i look at the views...it's a lot of work to do the actual project and then do add the work of shooting and editing too? But i'm a small channel, i gotta stay positive and not give up. CZcams is a marathon and not a sprint. Thanks again, i really appreciated that! 👊🏻
@@stuffsethmakes I think it’s because it’s so focussed on the so much other than the actual building part. Trying to be like a RV show and no instructions etc. Good luck 🤞🏻
not sure i understand what you're saying. Can you elaborate?
Enjoying these videos! Great job!
Bruce A. Ulrich thank you Bruce!! 👊🏻
You did such a great job! Is it possible for me to get plans? I have always wanted one for our kitchen. It's just me and her now and I think a booth would make us feel like we were dating again.
sorry, no plans available. If you look online you can find the general dimensions for a standard booth, then it's just a matter of attaching whatever cool pattern you like!👍🏻
Amazing video
Awesome 👍🏽😎
🙌🏻
Thanks for the informative video. If you don't mind a technical question, what angle do you feel is appropriate for the back to lean to the rear from the flat bench? Thanks.
gosh, if my memory serves me correctly I wanna say i did it at a 7degree angle or a 13degree angle...honestly i don't recall off the top of my head. I did a mock-up to see what was comfortable, made note of what felt right, and went for it 👍🏻
What material is she using for the cushions?? What type of foam and what is the white material on top?
the material is a durable fabric. the foam is standard cushion foam from our local upholstery outlet and the white material is batting.
@@stuffsethmakes thanks!
the white batting helps to soften sharp edges...in this case we were mounting the foam to plywood bottoms/backs, so the batting helps to create a softer/rounder edge when combined with the foam. Also, if i remember correctly i think the foam was a fairly dense 3" foam
@@stuffsethmakes ah okay I will have to locate those materials near me. I was thinking about making a corner booth for my buddies kitchen and so your video was very helpful!
@@romanoreo unfortunately i haven't had a chance to edit the remaining footage...i have enough footage to get another couple videos together though🤦🏻♂️
What is the name of the store who sale that kind of materials?
Quick question: Are you capable of doing a project for a 1500sqft restaurant?
possibly, depending on what's needed. Email me through my website: stuffsethmakes.com 👍🏻
I see people making ones out of 2x4's and some people with 3/4 plywood any reason you did it this way?
why did i do what, what way? make the booths with 2x4's and alder?
@@stuffsethmakes Sorry. I meant did you choose to build the structure out of 2x4's for a reason versus plywood as I have seen some other people building the structure out of. I was looking to build one myself and to be honest didn't know if there was a reason to choose one over the other for this application. Love the video by the way.
oh, well used the 2x4's just as framing since i would be attach the alder boards as the main design of it. I was also keeping th weight in Mondragon because it would just be myself and my wife moving all the pieces from our house to the restaurant. I think having the plywood would've made it pretty heavy, although some parts of the build probably would've been easier if i'd used plywood haha. I have a lot of footage to make probably 3 more videos of this build but i just haven't had the time🤦🏻♂️
@@stuffsethmakes Thanks so much for the info! Look forward to the rest of the videos when you get the time.
Can you make me one
