- Here's the other large project I've been working on over the last few weeks. Could've been done sooner but got lazy with it like always but I've really put work in the last few days to finish it finally. This is probably one of my most anticipated videos yet. I know quite a few people have been asking about if & when I was gonna make this. But here it is, the sequel to my TXR Zero full wanderer guide video. With nearly 10K views and a 99% like to dislike ratio, the TXR Zero video was quite a success for my channel's standards and I knew I had to do this for TXR3 at some point. So this is it, a full guide on the requirements to race all 83 wanderers in the game to help reach rival 600 and beat the game to 100%.
UPDATE: Since posting this video, there’s a few important details I need to include for a few wanderers, I’ll update this further if I discover anything else.
Caffeine X3: If he declines your challenge, challenging him 3 times won’t work either. I stated it as a possibility in the video, but now I’ve confirmed it doesn’t work.

The Death Driver: You may get lucky and be able to race him at other times besides 2 am. He recently challenged me out of nowhere to a battle and it was literally noon.
Gold License: You must also defeat Yellow Desperado first. This was also the requirement to racing him in TXR Zero.
Electric Shark: Make sure your in first person view when you have your hazard lights on, repeatedly hitting the walls.
NOB: You don’t necessarily have to drive a stock car. You just have to drive one that looks stock. Meaning remove all your aero mods, wheels, reinforcements, dress up parts, etc. You can get away with engine & tire upgrades & all the powertrain upgrades as well as weight reduction, even at level 5 as long as it’s colored. But you’ll have to remove your muffler & cooling mods. He becomes much easier to beat this way. Just know that without cooling upgrades, your car will heat up very quickly. So when the race starts, try to take him out fast.
Midnight Black Sun: You’ll only have to enter Nagoya Kanjou’s pit area 3 times to get him to appear instead of 5.
Shocking White Dog: Turns out completing the main game to where wanderers are the only rivals left isn't at all his requirement as I've now raced him well before getting to that point. My best guess now is you may have to just conquer an area.
Sport Newspaper Mania: Turns out his requirement is you have to race him on days that are a multiple of 9 instead of ending in 9.

Looks like you can even find him on day 1 (Monday). Had about 6 win streaks before bumping onto him at 200+ trip. License plate had top number "556" and my car was AE86T. IDK if this matters but I'd mention those anyways because I cannot see him in most of my playthrough on Thursday/Friday. Maybe someone can test this further?
EDIT:
During the win streak, I challenged rivals from 2/3 different teams including a wanderer (Immortal Clown) and won. I thought this is a possibility after looking at his profile (" invited battles on people regardless of whether they were a beginner or anything else").

Make sure you modify your car under ALL dress up category (including stickers and license plate) she will be more likely to appear this way

Dont forget to mention, by adding a sticker, it means the one you use when looking next to your B.A.D. Name but also, put that same sticker *_on the car in the paint section_* and she'll show up everytime.
I just raced her recently in my I4-T swapped S14. Put the Fine Drive sticker for the bad name but also on the car and there she is like clockwork!!

Battle Speed is a measurement of your average speed during battles. To raise this, just do a couple of races on the Wangan or anywhere long. Hope this helps!
That’s what I was hoping it meant. If the game would’ve been a bit more descriptive and said “average battle speed” then that’d have been great.
i race every wangan but it not increased. i stay 128 mph and not raised so i cant battle wit no 5 west

I'm so glad I own the Japanese version after owning the US version. I cheated to defeat all rivals, but I beat the Japanese without any cheats at all. Also some of the Wanderers end up in TXR3 from the TXR0 dress up contest, as they are real people who made these builds and they ended up being in the game, such as Mistral@MSR, POU@MSR, FD Tomo-san, EIC@MSR, and Wangan Runner.
Yes, aside from just the IRL racers like Orido and NOB, some of the wanderers were actual magazine writers.
I think the team APS was also an IRL gaming-related studio?

Unfortunately that’s not the case. He was the very last racer I raced before concluding my playthrough after beating the main game. Once I got to stage 2 of the game, I cleared Tokyo first. He never showed up at any point in that time while I was doing so. It says in his bio that he’s trying to connect with famous drivers in Nagoya/Osaka. Clearing those cities out is obviously a good way to become famous.

I never found the fascinating magician. Does someone knows if I can't change anything in the cars, like can't change nether the gauges of the cars, the 2 cars has to be exact the same even the plate?
Just like the video said, the 2nd car can be completely stock, I did that and Fascinating Magician spawned without a problem. In the other hand I can´t seem to get W Gon-san to spawn on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Can you make a video of all pit areas? it's so annoying trying to figure out what pit areas im missing, and the guides in the internet not helped

I probably could, thing is it still won’t help you with determining what pit areas you’ve hit & which ones you still have left. It’s basically up to you to keep track of that, regardless if I did a video or not.
@@MrSmashboy28 I see your point, but with a video it can be more easy of keep tracking of pit areas, because, i see where's is that pit area and now i know i dont need to enter again, if you dont mind doing a video its gonna be great for me and I think for others persons that struggles to get Funabashi Hooligan's appears (sorry if I missspelled something, english is not my native language)

ZERO returns with a massive downgrade to be fair.
Uses Devil Z which never got plot power to fight to be fair.
S30 in 3 has way too much drag to be useful, unfortunately, even with a swap. It's sort of an issue with every old Japanese car save for the SA22C, I think, and the better old cars tend to be stuff like the Mach 1 and Europa (former has enough torque to pull really hard and the latter is just insanely light and doesn't have a lot of drag, only held back by being hard to control thanks to no aero).
About the 20 millions credit wanderer , there is the infinite money cheat . It can be reversed , meaning you type 21 millions , challenge butterfly and win , reverse back to what you had before and that's it
Yeah but there’s no cheat codes or anything that lets you easily do something like that from the game directly. You have to do it through a cheat disc like code breaker or something similar which didn’t even work when I got a copy of one. Otherwise I’d have beat the game to its entirety like a decade ago and have footage of me racing both Exotic Butterfly and Whirlwind Fanfare here. It’s just not quite as simple as some people make it out to be.
can we just fucking get this game on steam with online play. I wanna street race with the boys everynight in tokyo fuck all these others games
