Here is the kicker! Once I watched a lot of sermons and learned the prophecies of the word, is when I became a real follower of Christ!
It removed the doubt from my psyche (Bc NgL I had some burdening me), Bc when I read a book written by many people over thousands of years that all “foretell” events that will happen after that time period and they come true perfectly 100% accuracy? I simply couldn’t deny it then.
Btw the entire Bible IS prophecy from the very first book of Genesis!
You want to be assured of the existence of Christ? For starters LOOK UP “Noah’s Ark FOUND” and “EXODUS Path of the Hebrew Slaves FOUND Saudi Arabia” those are both two separate things.
Also! Read the prophecy of Daniel and the statue dream interpretation.
Here are some extras of the top my head.
-500+ people all recount the exact same eyewitness account of Jesus Christ’s glorious resurrection from death.
-Every disciple took their faith to the grave with them and died brutal torturous deaths Bc they refused to deny Christ.

The Pharisees was the ones that had the really big church or Temple whatever you wanna call it all the same. body of Christ can be just 2 or 3 people who gather in his name, and pray in agreement to God. Not collecting money just praying, a building isn’t a church it’s just called that. Look it up in the Bible you and me are the church, if we obey what he says.

Ryan Jackson I thought when you said the church is the body of Christ, as in it needs to be a building and people meeting in a building. That ways the way I took it, if I was wrong sorry. Jesus just normally taught anywhere normally outside, a lot of people give people like me a hard time because I won’t go to a church building. And say I’m not a believer, but I don’t go because when I have went to a few each taught differently about the Bible. And I found based on the truth of Gods word they lie, and preach a feel good message that is made to make people give more money. And the tithing that they charge people does not apply for today, that was from a priesthood who would offer sacrifices for forgiveness of them and the people in the Old Testament. And it was normally food or animals not money, so if a church building does the 10% like most do it’s wrong. Jesus took over that priesthood so it ended and went in to a ever lasting one, and Jesus said to pay taxes to the government and give praise to God. But we as the church the people should give to the poor around us, just not to a building. I preach freely because I was gave freely by God, and work a job the rest of the week to cover thing I need. That’s why we meet outside and do church at a park, so there’s no cost of a building and we can use the money to help the poor around us as we should.

"Church as a hospital" is a very old theme in the writings of the saints. Especially regarding the monasteries. The salvation is impossible without the Church, like healing a strong disease is impossible without a hospital. I'm not a protestant, I'm an Eastern Orthodox Christian and haven't found a single thing wrong in a plenty of Mr. Turek's videos that I've watched. Well, we'd probably disagree on which Christian denomination is the right one and so forth, but on the subjects of morality, marriage, sex and such - he is spot on!

A more correct analogy would be, the Church is a body of physicians who sinners can come to and be healed, and who can go to each other to be healed if they need to.

I learned that a lot of people saying they're christian today really aren't. They know of Jesus but don't know him. If they did then they wouldn't use, "Jesus loves everybody" or "Jesus wouldn't do...." to justify what they want to do.
