As the mother of three grown sons, I’m going to say it-Lee, your mom is proud of you. I’m proud of you. Yesterday a neighbor walked by my house while I was outside. She had a Great Pyrenees, off leash. He was an absolute sweetheart and she explained that she had very recently rescued him from the euthanasia list in a shelter in Riverside, California. Apparently he has an issue with his back legs, but I couldn’t tell. We talked about people who work for the transport companies, shelters, and all aspects of animal rescue. Thank you for being an example of the best that humanity is capable of, Lee. I don’t know how you are able to keep so much joy for every rescue, but you do, and I believe you rescue people as well as animals. You’re a bright light in a weary world.

My mother passed from cancer last November, and i still talk with her, often when I'm alone at home. My compassion was nurtured by my parents, and it's something I'm proud of! Thank you so very much. To my son every animal was a "puppy", be it a dog, an elephant, or any four legged animal. He was 5 before he would say anything else greeting any animal. We always had 4-6 rescues, so he has loved rescues all his life.

Nope, sorry but Lee wasn't a dog in his last life, lol. He's too evolved to have his last life as a dog but dogs definitely had a big part in his past life/lives. Who knows, maybe he abused them in his last or one of his last lives & that why he's a huge dog fan & rescuer in this present life. My "mother" decided 5 years ago when I was 55 and my sister was 54 she didn't want to be our "mom" anymore and disowned us. We have had no contact with her ( her wishes) since. But- we are blessed to be moms ourselves with grandkids and plenty of doggies. We are so blessed and do not miss her torturing us any more.

I fostered a dog, who eventually got adopted by a 10-year-old boy, who had the same story. He has been fascinated and has talked about dogs ever since he was a toddler. It was great to be able to witness him getting his first dog. The foster was very special also and it is so heartwarming to know that they have that special relationship together.

I fostered a dog, who eventually got adopted by a 10-year-old boy, who had the same story. He has been fascinated and has talked about dogs ever since he was a toddler. It was great to be able to witness him getting his first dog. The foster was very special also and it is so heartwarming to know that they have that special relationship together.
