This is a sales video. What it shows is not what happens unless you are a professional craftsman with years of experience. And even then it won’t go together as easily as portrayed. I had to hire someone to spend days putting it together through trial and error. The roof is a jigsaw puzzle that takes time to figure out. Once finished it looks nice but I will be surprised if it doesn’t leak when it rains.
Is there a video on how to do the full length skylights on the newer model? I'm struggling, which is why I came to this video through the link in the instruction book.
I just completed mine not as easy as they make it seem like on this video. Some of the parts I saw they just inserted as plug-in however not true specifically the roof… you need two people and good access around shed otherwise screws will not go in. Overall the parts were not labelled, only the big bags were labelled so a bit confusing. You certainly need a ladder to access the top portion unless 6.8 😅. The appearance of the shed is really nice however for the price I think they could have made it a bit more sturdier

Am I crazy? There’s no HKC bag included and it’s not even listed in what’s in each box
"HKC" is found in box 2 in kit box "HKB".
Roof support is supposed to through the square hole in the centre truss but this is not really shown or described in the instructions with the shed. Mine wasn't even close to fitting. Fortunately I have a file that fits the hole so that it could be filed until the support bar fits. This should not really be necessary.
We had same issue and thought we needed to file it too. But with some extra manoeuvres it finally fit.
We tried it several different ways. About fell of the ladder because we already had the truss up and tried to do it from the top. We were getting ready to ream the square out and my friend was just playing around and it slid right in. I guess the instructions should say, wait until your blood pressure is through the roof, give up and it will magically happen.
I have same problem and lost half day to try fixed - quality terrible.
I can’t seem to find the gutters. The 2 that go at the peak in section 9.4. Can you tell me what the letters are? Thanks
Those are the side trusses that were built in section 2.1-2.6. The gutter channels are DSQ and DSR.

This video is so picture perfect which is totally misleading. Several of the Plastic parts are warped, do not line up and the holes are not complete. The floor panels are warped. Anchor plugs spun when the screws were drilled in for the shelves. The window sealing strips were mushed inside the plastic bags, so I had to peal it all apart and reshape the strips to fit. They mention a box that didn’t exist, the parts were in another box. The frustration factor was really high during this build. I enjoy building things BUT NOT THIS SHED
Could you please tell me which screws to use to finish the trussers. There arent enough screws, so I have to go lowes now and spend more money. None of the codes in the picures match what is being shown in the viedo. All a guessing game, will give a poor review. And you have to pay extra 100 dreds of dollars to have somebody do it. For you ....

Unfortunately this one year old video is out of date already. The current model has full ridge skylights that are challenging to install (the instructions indicate this with ?$!& warning)
Is there a chance that the shed you have is a different model number? We just pulled the assembly manual for this model (60405) from today and from a year ago and they are the same. Model 60405 doesn't have the full ridge skylights, just the 4 small ones.

Do we need to put something under the Floor (rock, block...) or put the Shed direct on the Grass?
We recommend building your shed on a level concrete slab or a pressure treated wood foundation. We include instructions on how to build an approved foundation in the first 10 pages of the instruction manual.
Pretty easy to put together. Some fit issues as would be expected with a plastic panel. Easily rectified by alignment with a screwdriver to pull the roof panel into position. The video helped in staging the assembly. Thanks 👍

Are your products as dreadfully poor quality as your website and recordkeeping? BJs lists 2 different SKU for what we ordered, your boxes have 2 more different SKUs, and your website doesn't seem to be able to find any of these 4 possible 10x8 sheds. I suppose it's silly to ask what wind speed they should withstand when you're not even sure if you make them? Guess we take it back...
Sorry you had a hard time navigating the website! On BJ's site underneath the title of the shed you'll see an item number (BJ's SKU) and then a model number (Lifetime's SKU). Another helpful tip is that most of our sheds start with the number six (6). It's also important to keep in mind that some model found on other retailors websites won't always be found on Lifetime.com since they are exclusive to that retailor.

I will never ever buy or recommend another shed from you Guys. For the price, it is miss guided advertising. Just because you are trying to safe money. 20 thumbs down for this product sorry!!!
I hardly ever write comments or post but this is by far the worst product I purchased ever in 30 years. I paid almost $1800 through wayfair, I had a concrete pad done and the quality of this shed or the one I received is terrible. Even on a cement pad nothing aligns and it bends and get out of shape so easily in California heat especially doors. Worst product and if someone is planning on purchasing better spend a little more and get something else. I am sure it's not built to withstand high winds.
And dont tell me just do the best you can. Not easy at all, liar
