Is this safe to do if my hammertoe is pretty stiff? Don't want to make it worse.
Also , I've been doing what I thought was another hammertoe exercise, but can't find it anywhere so maybe I've been doing it wrong...
I'll grab the end of the hammertoe and kind of just pull on it sort of extending it, sometimes with my finger on the bent part so i can feel that it's being stretched.
It does look and feel better. The pain was so bad before I couldn't walk and i would lift my toes off the ground constantly.
Was getting tendon cramps in bottom of foot. And tendons would stick out quite a bit in my feet.
After less than a month it's so much better I'm looking at doing other toe exercises.
So it's not as stiff as before, but still cautious.
I've been having too many issues with walking to just try anything without being super careful.
And yes of course I'll ask my dr when i see him. ( I also have crps)
Hi Juniper: I recommend you visit a practitioner to see what is appropriate for your specific case. Not sure if you have seen one of our recent videos on hammer toes. Cheers! czcams.com/video/3lbpzFxTiGo/video.html
