I went hiking with my friends in June at Okutama. We started from Okutama-ko and climbed up to Gozen-yama. Coincidentally before the climb, we had breakfast at the same exact spot! (8:30). Around a 30-minute hike from there you can get a really good panoramic view of Okutama-ko, highly recommended. I plan go there again during the momiji season too see the rest of Okutama! And I’m definitely gonna check out that inn as well.
