- Japan has hundreds of cities and over one thousand smaller towns to explore. If cities have most of the country's major attractions, towns are the best places to find ryokan, onsen, beaches and nature. Collectively, towns also have many of Japan's best castles, temples and shrines.

Beautiful mountainous countryside walk my friend! The lush nature was healing :) Thank you for the wonderful Okutama experience! L2 🙏🇯🇵❤️⛰🌿👍
My lord that opening shot is awesome
I think when most people think of Japan, they think of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, the colorful streets of Akihabara, or the temples of Kyoto.
But when I think of Japan, I think of these small, rural villages ( I blame Your Name for that mostly.). They always seem to embody the very definition of calm and tranquil.
When I visit Japan someday, I would like to go to random villages like these and take a walk through them.
I love that you don't use music and let the natural sounds take the stage! I'll subscribe to you for healing and relaxation purposes.
Amazing travel!❤💥🙏
just awesome!! so fun to watch! new fan here! greetings from Singapore!
love japanese streets
Are most of these buildings houses or businesses?
@@DrivinginJapanJDM Wow, I would have thought they were mostly businesses. Certainly a very different area than what most of us likely think of, when we think of Japan. Thank you for sharing it with us.
