Thanks for the video. I'm an avid spec (crappie) fisherman from Michigan. I spend my winters in AZ. I want to bring my 14ft deep V with a new Suzuki 20hp motor to Az. I was wondering if this setup would be sufficient for lake Pleasant. I also have a 16ft bow rider, 50hp I could bring. Want's your thoughts please.
I’m as lost as you are but I have been using a lot of clear minnow shaped jigs. Some with glitter and some with white in the belly area. Earlier in the year I found a submerged upright tree in the back end of castle creek when the water was up. They were stacked in and around that tree. I’m fishing the point in this video and the fish where schooling in and out of that area all day.

What time of the day are you more successful?
And how many more crappies do you catch with using the Mike’s?
Early morning seems to be the best time and the Mikes seems to work after the bite slows down. It may work for my mind more than anything else.

It would be fine on weekdays, but that lake gets BLOWN out on the weekends and you hear about these cigarette boats running stuff over at 100mph.
I keep trying to go target crappie in Arizona, but there so hard to catch. What soft plastics do you recommend and what structure should I target?
