Yeah, Alan just leaving the kids there annoyed me so much. I suppose his reasoning was that they were going to be fighting Tony's staff, who are likely to be armed, and wanted to not have the kids be put in danger like that (and that they were going to get rid of Tony and thus keep the kids safe in the end), but at least tell them to hide or something, now that there is no guard there! Of course, it is established in the episode that Winner and the other goons are watching our heroes on the security cameras, so if the kids hid, they'd probably be found easily, so...
