    Nice presentation. I got award with GPSSBC in the absence of respondent. Later, the respondent gave notice of application for rescission of the award and it was dismissed. Respondent didn't pay me money due to me. I proceeded to CCMA to get the award certified. Still respondent don't want to pay. What must I do now?

      Hello Masogana
      Firstly - congratulations on winning your case! well done!
      The next step is for you to get the award certified and have the Sheriff of the court enforce that award. This is a bit of a complicated process. But the sheriff should be able to explain it to you. This will be a free option for you.
      You are also welcome to hire us for assistance on recovering the money owed to you. This is a paid option. To book an appointment, our office number is: 031 942 8863.
      We look forward to hearing from you. And all the best!

    Myself and my wife where fired on the spot. Employer accused us that he found drugs on the shifts we work and said he found it on us then says he found it in the vehicle I was driving. Never gave us a hearing and just sent me a message saying I'm fired for failing to pass polygraph which he refuses to provide any evidence and refuses to give our u19 forms for uif. I had the con/arb today and the comitioner sign the form for arbitration. Our employer had a lawyer and the lawyer tried to scare me but stood my ground thanks to your help. I know we will win this case but also feel we need your help. We have been left moneyless of accusations, he threatened us and took what I studied for my profession away from due to these allegations because he failed to keep this situations private. Please we don't have the money to pay right now but if you see the evidence and all the allegations you will see that everything our employer did was unlawful and clearly unfair. We can pay you once we have won this dispute

    CCMA case was thrown out because I didn't meet the dates dateline because of lack of knowledge and the condonation was not granted.
    The facts were not discussed at all and I lost on technicality, how do I move forward appealing this at CCMA or to labour court?

    Can an alcohol first offense lead to dismissal?

    • @legalleaderssouthafricanla7309
      @legalleaderssouthafricanla7309  Před rokem

      Thank you for your comment, Patience.
      Drinking on duty constitutes misconduct, which is a reasonable ground for dismissal under South African law. However, a fair procedure must be followed.
      I hope the above was helpful.
