heyyy so I’m an incoming freshman for high school, I’m doing a lot of extra curriculars but I am not doing any honors, do you think I have a chance for UCLA :(
Those are just for my freshman year though, I wanna try to get honors second trimester idk
@@autumnadaya971 yes you dont have to do honors or ap freshmen year but make sure to take some sophomore year and so on dont worry youre barely starting high school
@@melotot8803 thank you !! but i go to a competitive private school near UCLA where litterally almost everyone ik is doing at least a few honors freshman year:// i just feel kinda behind ://
Hello! So I’m currently a Sophomore and I’m not taking an AP classes however, I am taking 3 honors classes and I am also planning on doing many extracurricular activities. For my Junior year, I plan on taking 2 AP classes and maybe one or another 2 AP classes for my Senior year (on top of my honor and extracurricular activities). Does this sound like a good plan in getting into UCLA (or maybe other decent colleges)?
Edit: I forgot to mention that for my freshman year, I took all regular classes, no honors or APs.
no sorry
Can’t say. Need to compare w your school. If you are top 10% you are guaranteed a spot in a uc school but for ucla the process is always quite random

Hi there! Thanks for watching
your stats are similar to mine! did you get in?
No language? tried to link but it wouldn't.
Did you get in???
When UCLA (UC) required the SAT/ACT which was as late as 2020, 58% of the students scored ≥ 1,400 on the SAT and around 80% scored ≥ 30 on the ACT. The students in this video had only one who scored that high, which was unusual. And if you're finding it tough to find APs to build up your weighted gpa, you ought to look into dual-enrolling (DE) at your local community college. There are numerous students who have entered UCLA as sophomores or even juniors as high-school graduates because of DE at their cc. Language, though is usually required also.
yes bbg!!!
WHO TF DIslIKED THIS
This is mediocre. She got lucky.
