Josh Blue is the reason i started following comedy back in 06-07. His first special came on the t.v after Tosh.o one night and his appearance grabbed my attention but after a few minutes everyone in my house was watching him and we couldn’t believe how funny and positive about life he is. Absolute legend!
I saw him for the first time in the exact same way lol. His Comedy Central Presents came on after Tosh.0 one night and I loved the dude. He had the crazy haircut st the time and his bit about it stuck with me.

I gotta say that I think of Josh Blue as the Disabled comedian like I think of you as the Baltimore comedian. It’s just a way for those of us that suck with names to identify someone quickly with an easily recognizable trait. Some it’s a character they’ve played or a a particular joke they’ve told (the Machine). Regardless of all that bullshit, Josh Blue is a premiere comedian. I’ll watch him any time in get the chance, just like Ryan Sickler.
Why?
I have mild cerebral palsy and I’ve felt so many things that Josh talked about. I wish more people were aware about cerebral palsy and weren’t so quickly to judge. Thank you again for another amazing episode!
This episode legit made me cry. I remember seeing Josh Blue on America's Got Talent and I KNEW he was gonna make it big. Keep pressing forward, Josh! We love you Ryan! You're an amazing dude.
Just wanted to say to each and every one of you reading this.....things will get better. Don't stop fighting to see another day because we're all really happy you're here with us. If you just need a Momma to tell you they love you and are proud of you...I'm glad to do it. Im so proud of you, everything you're doing, keep going and I love you dearly!

@Z I'll be 40 this year and lost my mom when I was 7 as well. Had 1 step mom for a few years but mostly just my dad and my grandparents.

This was really eye opening for me. Great show with Josh Blue. Definitely a fan of how humble he is with his difference from normal kids. Please have him return again. There has got to be more!!

josh is awesome, more power to him. Dude just keeps it moving and positive... just hate how people are so weird towards him... i used to play football with a guy that had palsy, he was pretty good actually. Great kid, my heart goes out to those people.
My brother was a quadriplegic and he had the same attitude as Josh does about his injury. Thank you for this one Sigler. Unfortunately, my brother passed away four years ago and hearing Josh. Your sense of humor brought back a lot of good memories so thank you Josh for the laugh and memories. My brother used to say he wasn’t handicapped but HANDICAPIBLE!

Damn bro I am so sorry for your loss. Sounds like your brother was an amazing dude and very inspirational and no doubt made a huge impact on your life. He will live on through your stories bro. I lost my mom 2 years ago, she had a rare blood disease for 25+ years call PV "Polycythemia Vera" then it really messed her up the last 2 years of her life and she was on chemo and damn bro it is rough. I truly feel for u. Stay strong bro🫡
@@boofert.washington2499 I was his full time caregiver for 10 years and I watched his attitude change throughout the years, he had a positive outlook most days, but you probably one those dark days and how bad they can be. People don’t know that it would take an hour or more to get him ready and change everything from “bed mode” to “chair mode” goin through all the ups and down got mentally taxing

I’ve always loved Josh’s comedy. I’m so happy to see him have a great episode with Ryan.
I ran into Josh a few years back and tried to have a chat with him but all he did was try to sell me merch and wanted me to call my friends to come to his show that afternoon. I get the hustle… but the way he did it and the way I felt he blew off someone that genuinely liked him really bothered me for a long time. I hope I just caught him on a bad day because it really soured my love of what he does.
He was probably going thru it. Had 2 kids and was probably needing money. Don’t hold it against him.
I’ve loved Josh Blue for years and I love Ryan. I was so excited to see he was on this episode. Probably one of my favorite interviews I’ve listened to in a while.

As a person who is blind I get a lot of the same treatment that josh talks about. Discrimination is all over the place and gets tiring to handle politely. People talk down at me constantly. I’ve been following Josh for years and love his standup!

I think Josh is the comedian I can always watch and know im guaranteed to be laughing and laughing alot! Like every moment of one of his shows is used in a humorous way, there's no long breaks without a laugh at any point in his shows.

As a handicapped comedian myself, I have experienced the same type of people who discriminate and dismiss my talent/hard work because of my disabilities. In comedy and everything else throughout my entire life. Hearing Josh's experience makes me feel not so alone. It's awesome you created your own success in spite of the people trying to hold you back. All power to you Josh!

I have a daughter with special needs and when she was younger we went to the fair as we did every year. This particular year a person running the kiddie rides looked at her and continued to tell me people like her cannot ride on the rides. I lost my mind. What the hell does that even mean? I hate when people say ignorant shit like that. She could have asked does she have heart condition, medical things that may be affected with ride or checked her height but nope she went with that. I called every person higher up that day after leaving. I don’t understand when someone says people like that.. makes my blood boil! Great episodes!

I had a teacher in high school with cerebral palsy. He was the best teacher. Started chess club on the reservation I grew up, within a few years his team won state! He taught science. Smart man! Made every senior their favorite pie at graduation every year. Also no one could beat him at arm wrestling on his non palsy arm. He let me cuss in class! Mr. Martin!! Beast!

Just starting the episode and josh brings up a lot of emotions from my own life. I had an uncle with severe cerebral palsy, deprived oxygen at birth. He passed away last year at 64, but never mentally developed beyond an 8yo or so. When I was little my mom volunteered with Easter seals while my uncle was involved. My mom would bring me along. Just me, her, and 10-15 severely disabled people. It made me afraid of them as a kid, and as an adult I just feel uncomfortable. For me Josh is a good ambassador of cerebral palsy, and disabilities. This will be an uncomfortable watch, but in a good way afterwards.
I remember seeing him on Comedy Central Presents and Premium Blend back in the day, stoked he’s still doing his thing!

Josh Blue is one of the comics I found out about at young age. I remember watching his stand up where he makes that "it's not the palsy, it's the pot." Joke. Episode has some nostalgia to it.
