    It's hilarious that the color of the interior changed from red to orange! I love it! Absolutely love these SUV's.. Picking up my '23 in February if production stays on schedule!

      Lol yeah, that’s the camera - the first shots that are now POV are a more accurate representation of the colors. Congrats on getting this car soon. It’s such an incredible machine. You’ll love it!

    BMW knocking it outta the park lately imo. Even the other trims like the M40i are great.

      I agree! They have been killing it. I really want to drive the latest M3 competition soon. That’s a bucket list car for me.

    Great video! Taking delivery of my 2023 in about 2 weeks. Marina Bay Blue on Tartufo interior. Can't wait! But I'm coming from a X3 M40i so I know the X3M isn't gonna sound as good.

    It def seems like a fun drive. I don’t like the rear lights though

      I feel you. My favorite cars from them right now is the M3. I’d buy that over this one for sure since they are close in price anyway.

    Unless one is going to do a lot of really open road driving where all the power of the "M" can be used it becomes just an expensive toy with a loud muffler. The video showed speed below 50. The 30i or M40i will give the same results at a much lower costs especially for insurance.
    Nice SUV but for looks and power the X4 "M" is a better buy.

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Před rokem

      That is definitely true with most sports cars - most people don’t get to drive them on the limit but handling and overall dynamics can still be enjoyed at lower speeds or on local back roads / trips. Now when it comes to the $$$ these are all expensive toys that are not a true need. Lol There are ways to cut costs by thousands by considering other options if someone wants to spend their money differently.

    How is the suspension over the bumps or bad road surface

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Před rokem

      Great question! If I had to give it a comfort rating on a scale of 1-10 (10 being super comfortable) it’s probably a 6 over rough roads.

    You know, for what power, handling characteristics, and Utilitarian duties it brings???? $80k is really NOT that bad of a price point.. Especially with how much car prices are in today's crazy world/economy.

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Před rokem +1

      Seriously! It’s basically an M3 alternative for the family that needs a bit more practicality. It drives incredible in terms of car-like characteristics. It did not drive like a typical SUV/Crossover one bit. I was so surprised. You get a lot of car for the price if your family / friends are ok with a pretty stiff ride around town.

    Love to see a non-COMPETITION. Like the ride is already harsh, why get the 21 inch wheels and pay extra for crappy ride. Nevermind - this has the 21 inch wheels, SMH.

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Před rokem

      Yeah the trade off on the great car-like handling is an extremely stiff ride. Word on the street is that is rides rougher than a G80 M3. The X3M needs better suspension damping.

    • @glk8743
      @glk8743 Před rokem

      There is a huge reason…competition version comes with sports exhaust. I have a base x4m, and the sound is very underwhelming..absolutely no crackles or pops on the stock exhaust

    • @srsairbags
      @srsairbags Před rokem

      @@glk8743 Some people actually value that - it will be a sleeper

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Před rokem

      Interesting! Yeah, I was expecting a much louder exhaust. My 18 Audi SQ5 came with a more dynamic stock exhaust. Crackles, pops, and upshift farts lol. It’s getting tougher from some manufacturers to continue putting out cars with great sounding exhausts. :/

    • @DekiaryCarter
      @DekiaryCarter  Před rokem +1

      Yo! I drove the base Macan but never filmed that one. It’s a great SUV - especially the Macan S. Watch out for oil leaks if you are buying it used. They have a ton of oil leak issues according to owners in the Facebook groups.
