Nothing beats that flame grill taste of Hungry Jack's burgers
When they actually cook the Patties and not just defrost them been to many HJ in Australia and many are still half frozen
😂
Under 40s will Never know the seatbelt buckle, vinyl seat triple brand. The edge of the seat with the melting, cracked vinyl that ripped your legs apart, the 500 degrees metal catch and buckles of the seat belt, no matter where you placed it, would be in contact with bare skin. 🔥🔥
I'm 29 but know that awful feeling due to my dad keeping his super beat up car for WAY too long. And of course no aircon to try and cool it before sitting.
Just pretend ya wearing one...that's what we used to do...until ya get caught, no harm no foul lol 😀😀😀
@@jessbellis9510 Air what? You mean the wind down things 😳a damp beach towel was the best we could do (evaporate cooling) in the car
HJ's _is_ better than Maccas. Burger King isn't, but Hungry Jacks sure as shit is.
I don't think pumpkin patch existed when I was a kid, and if it did it would have been far too expensive for my parents. Every single item of clothing I had as a child was a hand me down. The joys of growing up poor. Even now I get most of my clothes from the op shop.
Pretty sure Macca's and HJ's burgers in Australia are different from the burgers over in the US.
You would have to assume the 100% Australian beef would definitely impact flavour. Both HJ's and Macca's heavily lean on that as a selling point. It's probably more hype than reality.
Then there are the burger buns. I'm not convinced the USA understands bread products quite like the rest of the planet. 😊
100% aussie beef is just the name of the company😂
I quite like Hungry Jacks burgers but I went to a Burger King in the USA and was shocked - I'd never again bother with Burger King. The divergence in burger quality over the several decades of the "Hungry Jacks v Burger King" saga is very profound.
You can't beat that smell of a real
Xmas tree in your home. 🎉
Nearly all our shopping centres (malls to you guys) have play areas for kids. Some even have paid child minding in separate play areas so you don't even need to watch your kids. Even Bunnings (hardware/home warehouse) has a play area. Every Maccas, Hungry Jacks (Burger King) etc all have play areas for kids.
You guys are bunch of legends….. Being Australian this rules…..
As an Aussie, this girl has to be the most genuine Aussie I've seen on CZcams. She's not putting on an act. She behaves exactly like someone from my hometown, except she's from a town over 1,000kms away 😅
zooper dooper solution: you're holding scissors in your hand to chop the top off. just trim the bits on the side off at the top where your mouth is going to go. no worries.
Fairdinkum means "genuine". "Oh fairdinkum?" Means "For real?". "Yeah that's fairdinkum." Means "That's legit." Expressed in an exasperated tone "Aw fairdinkum, mate!" means "Get real."
Fairdinkum is realness. It's authentic. It's the genuinely article, and that is the highest Australian virtue.
You may be interested in the original meaning of dinkum ( work ) . Fair dinkum meant a fair days work for a fair days pay .
Happy gravy day dream team .21 Dec
And don't forget a dollop of tomato sauce for sweetness and that extra tang
The Bunnings sausage sizzle used to put the fried onions on top of the sausage. But after a few customers went apex over turkey in their stores from slipping on onions that had fallen out of someone else's sausage sizzle, Bunnings decided to tuck the fried onions safely under the sausage. Has no effect on the taste though.
Ice pole frozen lemonade (aka sprite) cola & raspberry on a stick
Just remember that when you talk about burger king, it isn't hungry jack's. The USA with the list of nasty preservatives etc the length of your forearm that they put in their food? Half of that shit is outright illegal, and another quarter is taken out just because Australian franchisees think that crap is dumb.
Burgers are a little tricky to compare because of all the individual ingredients having gone through their own processes ...
The fries though, is super easy to compare.
McDonald's USA has a list of ingredients a page long, while most the rest of the world just has 3 or 4 ingredients.
lol i dont give a flying rats ass whats in it it tastes gooood i had 2 quarter pounders yesterday and admittedly my guts felt like a cement block in my tummy and i cant use the crapper today but hey you take the good with the bad
@@user-xd4tu9di6q you should (eventually) try the grand angus at macca's. It's good, but costs about 25% more than a quarter pounder. Which already probably more than a quarter pounder in the USA.
You forgot the 2-3% human DNA (ie. meat) found in Macca's, Domino's, Burger King and HJ's all across the globe in 2020. That's the 'special ingredient' Homer always talks about!
aaaaaaaagh@@doraexplora9046
i dunno know dora freaked me out lol@@Danceofmasks
We just had an assembly hall and whoever had P.E/sport after assembly had to pack all the chairs up be we only had like 200 students in the whole school
At the end of every Christmas I pick up my tree and carry it into the shed, and then when Christmas comes again I carry it back into the lounge room decorations lights and all. You should try it dneil simple mate👍
Hungry Jack's is way better then maccas
Too bad my locals are the opposite!
What planet are you on? Maccas is way better. There's too much sauce on a hungry jacks burger.
@@Vicky_C87 I understand that people like the fries & nuggets, but Maccas burgers are disgusting.
Hungry Jacks by a country mile. I've never understood how Maccas can turn quality beef into something that tastes like cardboard - must be their secret recipe.
It was like a Chariot's of Fire race to the canteen for icy poles, and at my school they made fresh donuts in winter. I would have John Wick'd every other kid if necessary to get to those donuts at recess. They were gone so quick.
Chair desk combo lmfao😂😂
Hey DTN...love McKenzie. You guys go so well together. Lucky bastard! Haha. Kimbo from Mandurah Western Australia.
Pumpkin patch always had a little play area for kids. They were just cute kids clothes... A wee bit pricey for everyday. Nothing to do with pumpkins though. 🇦🇺
The frozen drinks are better at hungry jacks. The coffee is better at Macca's. And carrying a chair down to assembly is a lot better than when I was at school. We just sat on the hard concrete
Because of electricity bills I prefer sleeping in the dark, the darker the better
Jacks burgers are moister than Macca's.
Love the jr whopper.
13:37 36C is not especially hot. Before it started raining here in Qld it was sitting between 41C & 45C for a week & a half.
Fair dinkum means, 'is that right' as in true, also dinkum in Chinese means real gold its from the gold rush days of old in Australia .
Roll ups were banned from my preschool as a kid, saddest day and just wanted them more haha
Bro once you have a real tree for Christmas you wouldn't have anything else it's all about the smell bro
the way the burgers are cooked at hungries, is different to in America at BK, plus our meats are used here, so has better flavour anyway, there's lots of vids of people spinning out about the burgers here, being so much better than other countries (EU, UK, USA mostly)
Burgers at Burger King and Burgers at Hungry Jack’s are different
Pumpkin patch was a child’s clothing store that had a play area for their customers to use in the store whilst they browsed and kept an eye on their own kids. It was very popular and quite expensive designer gear. They had trouble with people coming in,pretending to shop there, leaving their kids unsupervised in the play area like it was a babysitting service, whilst they went off shopping around the mall for a couple of hours. Poor kids. Poor store staff left to deal with asshole parents and abandoned children.
There was an almost daily call to cops to deal with it.
Some entitled people spoiled it for everyone else as usual…
In Australia we refer to McDonalds (Maccas) as “Chew and Spew”, and Kentucky Fried Chicken as “Dirty Bird”. Don’t get me wrong, I get a hankering for it about once a year. Once I’ve eaten it, I remember why I haven’t eaten it for 12 months. Yuk. Yet one year later, I get a yearning for a Big Mac. Rinse and repeat.
It sort of reminds me of why Starbucks failed in Australia, and why there is such a strong “coffee culture” here. There are lots of small “corner store” family businesses that can make a much better hamburger than McDonalds does. Ditto coffee. I’d prefer to patronise them. None of them will ever be recognised as an international brand name. That’s not what matters.
Strangely enough, if you go to any country town/city you will find a multitude of Chinese Restaurants. They all cook the same Chinese food dishes (say “Sweet and Sour Pork”) but they all taste different. and people have their favourite Restaurant. It’s got me beat how all these Chefs are cooking exactly the same dish, and some are magnificent, and others are shit. Go figure. It’s a mystery.
I think there's a difference between Hungry Jack's Oz and Burger King because I've heard many Americans slag BKs but I'd walk a Kilometre on two bloody stumps for a Hungry Jack's feed even if I lost my feet in front of Macca's. Mind you there's Carl's Jr here which is faaaarken top as.
I don't think I'm an Aussie any more because I did not get that last one.
Hungry jacks chips are bomb there not thing but not thick there inbetween
Thanks
Thanks to Kevin-07 we all got to shop at pumpkin patch with that baby bonus. I got $5k and some 🎉😂
i miss kevin...too real
HJ's (Hungry Jacks) is NOT like Burger King in US! We have good quality beef & fresh salads, pretty sure it's the same for Maccas too👌🏼
Yo Hungry jacks is waaaaayyyyy different to Burger King. Hungry jacks is aussie owned and use aussie ingredients (obviously)
I love hungry jacks burgers❤🇦🇺
Yeah our mobile phone network has faster connectivity than wired internet. I'd use mobile broadband before anything else but it's soooooo expensive. BTW love watching reactions with both of you. I've hit the like button on every one I've watched.
It depends what plan you pay for. We have NBN 100, just upgraded from the NBN 50 and our speed is lightning fast- doesn’t even come close to the 4/5G mobile network. I also have found a lot of people don’t know how to setup a modem to maximise their speed. Even changing the location of the modem and making sure you’re on a difficult wireless channel to your neighbours can give you 50% more speed.
@@Dr_KAP it also depends on the location of your house. I'm talking from an rural area. NBN was waste of money. If you live in Sydney or Melbourne you probably have great internet but from Emerald Qld we don't 4g is faster.
@@michaelbaumert9533 yep, as you say it all depends on your particular circumstances, I do appreciate that. Wasn’t so much disagreeing but just adding a bit of extra info / different perspective to your comment ☺️
@@Dr_KAP All good. I hope my reply didn't come across as abrasive. I'm just annoyed at the internet here. LOL.
@@michaelbaumert9533 not at all abrasive and I feel your frustration!! Probably sounded like I was rubbing salt on the wound! All the best for Christmas 🎄
You don't have shops with play centres??? so many toy shops and warehouses have them so parents can get in and out a little quicker
I agree in Australia hungry jacks burgers are better 100%. I had a Burger King burger overseas on a trip and I was shocked how bad it was. Truly different. Super dry and not as tasty.
I had my first and only Big Mac in 1982. I don't ever need to try them again. They are...how do you say "fucking awful" in American? I'm still a Hungry Jack's (Burger King for the Seppo's) kind of guy.
Fairdinkum means you are telling the truth, it also can be used as a question after someone tells you something and you aren't sure if it is true or not. It can also describe an honest person. eg: he's a fairdinkum bloke. Bloke means man.
Hungry jack burger’s are the best kfc for chips everything else is McDonald’s
I only go to KFC for their chicken salt...lol
You know your Australian if you just lost the game
Hungry jacks burgers are definitely better than maccas ones. I guess they make ‘em different over here
Macca's burgers blow man.
Our was outside in the playground you carried you chair of you had to stand
Even though buger king overseas but here it's hungry jacks been over sea tasted burger king its not that great Hunger Jack's totally different and has a better menu taste
😅
You 2 need to switch seats back as its messing with my head.
Finally first 😂
nice girl! and also humor!
There’s no Burger King franchises in Australia.
Yes there is but under a different name but still owned by the same company & every Aussie knows it Burger King but called Hungry Jack's.
@@terencemcgeown2358 It’s very limited and Jack Cowin owns the franchise for the continent of Australia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Competitive_Foods_Australia
Don’t have to spray the tree ya sook .
Our Hungry Jacks has awesome burgers… I am sure they shit all over yours in the US!
You can thank the LNP for our lousy internet but still the stooges vote for them.
I've lived my entire life in West Auss and been to every state besides Tassie (bucket list trip) and have always had aircon, at least one if not two different aircons. Luv Brianne, dunno how she lives without it, she's always so hot in these vids! Sweaty hot I mean lol
Hungry jacks burgers better
Hungry Jacks burgers are a lot better than Maccas
McDonald's is absolute crap in Australia.
I was in America this year your maccas is the worst ever BK all the way
best burgers come from take away shop screw maccas and hungry jacks they are both rubbish in my opinion. I don't go to either 1
Can't beat a decent pub's Works Burger...cafes too!
To be honest, this chick is not that funny
Heres a revelation for Brianne and everyone else including me FAIR DINKUM A Google search show the word dinkum originates in British dialects from Derbyshire and Lincolnshire where it means work. So if you did your fair dinkum you did your fair share of the work. And in Oz has now come to mean true honest and genuine.
When we say the burgers are better… we mean literally the meat patties
The burger meat is better quality and taste… the rest is preference
