I once again have access to nice video editing software, and I remembered THAT I WANTED TO ENTER THE AMV CONTEST AT MY LOCAL CON THIS YEAR
WHICH HAS A DEADLINE IN ABOUT 2 AND A HALF WEEKS.
Naturally I spent ~7 hours straight editing in order to get 1 entry done so I'd have time to work on another.
So here you go! An angsty Seijoh amv because I love these guys so much, my poor babies. My second entry will be pretty general with lots of different anime.

⚠️some of this is just a headcannon, not all of it is true.⚠️
Most people see oikawa as this narcissistic person who thinks he’s better than everyone else. But, there’s very little who see that he pushes himself beyond his limit when it comes to volleyball. He does more than his body can handle, no matter the consequences. Most of the time, he had to be stopped by iwa-chan. Iwa was the one person who helped him calm down and make oikawa realize that he’s good the way he is, and that he doesn’t need to force himself to do this to himself. Oikawa never really understood iwa, but he wants to make iwa happy, seeming as he always comes off angry. Iwa just wants to help oikawa and help him calm down and make sure he doesn’t take it too far. Oikawa is grateful for iwa, but sometimes he forgets what iwa wants for him. Oikawa has pushed himself further than he should have, injuring himself in the process. Both mentally and physically. Since oikawa and iwa have been best friends for god knows how long, they both trust each other and have to rely on each other to keep them on track and stable. Iwa sometimes gets gets too angry, which is where oikawa comes in handy. Oikawa shows iwa that he needs to stay calm in order to keep focus. Oikawa on the other hand, gets carried away, getting too focused on winning and making sure the keep the reputation that he has built over his years, as the “best setter around”. Iwaizumi makes sure to tell oikawa that if he doesn’t relax and focus on the real objective, then he will never reach where he wants to be. Over the years that they have known each other, they have tried to remember what the other has said to them, slowly getting closer to getting better at the things that are damaging them. When they had to graduate, oikawa and iwa planned their life after. They planned to try and visit each other as much as possible, make sure things don’t get out of hand. They made a promise to never forget about each other, and to always .. be the best partner the other could wish for.
I mean-- that does pretty much sum up their relationship with the other, shipped or not. They act as each other's pillars of sorts, but it's more obvious with Iwaizumi doing that for Oikawa since of the two them, Oikawa's the more rash and reckless one despite how hot-headed Iwaizumi appears to be towards Oikawa with the mostly empty threats. (Though I despise fandom's take on Oikawa's knee being as bad as they claim, being a former athlete myself whose career ended before it began from a knee injury in high school.. I know how bad those injuries actually are and that they end careers.)
Oikawa's narcissistic attitude is really just a front for his issues with inferiority and jealousy, he masks it all in his middle & high school years at the very least, since after he goes to Argentina he makes a name for himself and actually thrives, and makes it onto the Olympic Stage of all things with the Argentine National Team as their starting setter. 'Least that's my takeaway of it and him from the final arc in Brazil.
I hate that fandom boils him down to just this narcissistic pretty boy obsessed with aliens (I hate the alien headcanon lol) when he's much more than that and is a seriously complex character.
Man this made me shed some tears. I remember watching this a few hours before my volleyball tournament about 2 years ago, which we went on to crush. The reason it made me shed some tears, its because it made me reminisce back when our volleyball club was great. Anyway, thanks for making this great AMV :D.
I wish there was like a spinoff with Oikawa's pov. I think it would be really interesting since there isn't any protagonist who acts like him, don't get me wrong i love Hinata i just think it would be very neat and interesting to see Oikawa's pov of the whole story

This one chara out of one anime really have the audacity to make me feels so much. Like at the end, he even choose to be part of Argentina's team with naturalization just bcs he want to defeat the guys that he lose to before. Volleyball is really his life ahhhh lemme sob again

“Oi! Shittykawa.” The former setter turned his head to see his spiky haired partner staring at him with this strange look in his eyes. “how many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that! What is it now iwa-chan?” The spiked looked down slightly after hearing his partners words. “sorry..” he mumbled. “What was that iwa-Chan?” “Nothing trashykawa! Anyway .. “ the boy went silent. “ Hajime Iwaizumi. What’s wrong? Why did you go quiet all of a sudden .. ?” the former spiker looked at his friend, shocked. He had never called him by his full name before. there was an awkward silent pause. he turned away, hiding his tear filled face from his obviously confused friend. He quietly sobbed to himself, making sure not to attract attention to his friend. the setter reached up to put his hand on his partners shoulder, but stopped mid-air. He slowly lowered his hand back into his lap. “ why are you crying anyway .. ? “ the spiky haired boy didn’t realize that his sobs had gotten louder. He couldn’t look him in the eye anymore. He wasn’t ... his usual self. The boy stayed silent, wiping the tears off his face as more kept rolling down his face. He finally uncovered his face, sitting down on a bench finally getting eye-level with his partner. He was still teary-eyed as he looked into his cold and tired eyes. “I-i .. i love you ..” he finally managed to speak. “ iwa-chan .. “ .. the former spiker went silent, knowing what he was about to say next, looking back at the ground again as his partner placed his cold hand in his partners.
“ iwa-Chan .. im dying. It .. isn’t fair for you.”
.. he refused to face reality.
“Just .. let me love you. Just this once.”
