Thanks for sharing these awesome and helpful tips, sir! Here's something we want to add: to aspiring cleaning business owners, You want people to trust you to their home or business and allow you inside their property while they’re away or doing important stuff. That is why the number one piece of advice you need to consider is to perform background checks on potential hires.
This is a must-have when it comes to liability. Many cleaning service business owners may have the urge to skip background checks and criminal record screening due to the extra expenditure, but this step is crucial in order to protect yourself, your business and your current and future clients!

This was extremly helpful. I have made a traveling career out of being a janitor. I work in the Grand Teeton national park and in the winters i work at ski resorts. I have been doing janitorial for 19 years. I want to start my own janitorial company one day. And i was watching this taking a load of notes. Thank you sir!!

"5 other jobs you say? Let's go through them all now and I will bid them all together". Put them on the spot by turning it around. Then still don't offer the discount. You're worth more.

Is it better for new start up companies to do an introductory price where we charge by the hour and have a 4 hour cut off? Maybe like $30 an hour?

Start with networking. Tell everyone you know about the services you offer. Join some networking groups like your local chamber of commerce and get involved.
Watch out for BNI groups, they have lots of rules, fees and some don't have your best interest in mind.
