I love the attack while at the same time knowing your volume and place in the song. Melodic feeling while still ridding the beat like a beast. Love it.
I’m currently using this video in my approach to covering this song. I’m not a particularly good drummer, I’m still learning. The rhythm in the first half is particularly difficult, tho it sounds incredibly simple. I’ve got it down playing 1/4 note hi hats, just not quite there yet on the 1/8 notes. Still practicing. I’m a bass player learning the drums to increase my adaptability. I’ve got several favorite drummers, and Delta is for sure my favorite online.
This has been my favorite APC song since its release. I love that people still bother covering it, and I especially love the attention to the percussion in it.
Great job man, what I love about Josh Freese is that he makes very technical beats look easy and you do the same! Lot of touch required in that and you nailed every note perfectly. Awesome

VERY crisp, solidly sharp
The single most perfect foot placement in all of APC's discography at 4:32 and it comes after such an amazing performance and crescendo. Always goosebumps whenever I return to this. It's the noose tightening and the single point in time that the neck snaps. Chills.
