I was also very very bendable and good at hiding. these particular set of skills now just makes me talented, but before it just made me a nightmare. the best part was that I knew how to act like the innocent perfect little girl they thought I was, I got away with soooo much.

My favorite “kid logic” story from my childhood is when my little brother and I were riding around in a red motorized child jeep. Grandma was watching us drive around the yard while she gardened, and when she turned around I told my brother we should DRIVE UP THE TREE so we could watch her from the branches. I thought if I just got fast enough I’d go straight up the tree and be able to steer into a branch. We were maybe 5 and 3. I made sure our Velcro seat belts were on for my stunt, then put the pedal to the plastic headed for a large oak tree trunk. I thought my plan was working when we got to the tree and actually began to go vertical (I don’t understand how that happened till this day), but as soon as we were 90 degrees from the ground we flipped backwards and landed upside down. I got a good head bonk and a spanking, but also a good memory

i can totally relate to the whole teachers keeping track of how kids get home. at my elementary it was stanard for teachers to walk their kids to the bus lane. when we lined up for this the teachers would call out a specific way to get home like "bus" and all the kids who rode the bus would line up.

The box story reminds me of this one time when I was a brownie (girl guide group, can’t remember the age but I was about 7-10 I think?) and we were all going outside to play in the playground (it was next to a school they let us use it don’t know why) and I decided to go to the bathroom just before this
Mid writing I remembered why- when I joined a “buddy” in my team (kelpies, imps, fairies and gnomes) gave me a badge and a letter saying welcome to the Kelpies etc. I was the buddy of a new girl at this time and thought it would be cool to keep up the tradition and so I wrote a letter welcoming her to the Kelpies for this girl with a badge inside. Plot twist the lady in charge announced she was going to be an imp! I was shocked because as I was her buddy I thought she would be a Kelpie too, and I had already put the letter on her desk! So my plan was to hide in the toilet, throw away the letter and run out to join the rest of the group playing, hopefully without any of the adults noticing.
They locked the door and I was stuck inside a dark building for over an hour. They didn’t even realise when they came back
But I did throw the letter away 😂
This was the PERFECT first video for me she said her stuff a TINY BIT at the start and i watched this on a trip the first time i ever seen her channel and it was super good for me keep the good work even though i am a kinda new fan!

Have you had any experiences with wierd punishments? One i had that has kept me on a line to behave and not misbehave is 'get out', where i am stripped of my clothes and belongings before bring thrown out the house and to simply roam the streets as a bare naked homeless person. That, i have had thoughts of self harm that kept festering within me from then till now. [FYI i am okay. The self harm thing is mostly a byproduct of mental issues that developed due to bullying.]

My sister and I went to daycare at a church (not religious, just the only option), and one day when my sister was 3 or 4, she takes one step into the room and yells "Jesus Christ!" in an angry voice like our mom often does. The lady behind them just started trying not to laugh out loud.

As someone who had to join in on my mom’s daycare job, and being the insane person I am, putting me in charge of a few kids is going to cause a whole war. War DID happened, and nearly all of us got dirty and injured in some way. We were fighting each other for around 10 minutes before my mom and her coworker saw the chaos ensuing, apparently someone’s tooth got chipped and they cried to a worker, way to end the war.

I also used to go to the daycare and one day I used my kid logic as well. I bit my hand a little and showed it to my favorite care taker and toled her that somebody bit me. When she asked who it was I told her that I didn't know and she took it and asked the other kids that were sitting around if they did it.

1:09 I actually once snuck out in 6th grade afterschool car because I realised I'd left my water bottle in the classroom, the coordinator caught me and ordered me back in.
I told her that I did it because my mother would've been annoyed but she didn't believe me! And when she told my mum about it, she just shrugged it off and took me and my sister.
So, yeah sneaking around is not warranted even if you have a good reason which is honestly kind of annoying at times
