Hi Glenn, Thank you for your generous comments. I am just trying to put a few videos that are useful to other home shop machinists like myself. I’m always happy to hear that someone is using my ideas.
I find that little improvement very useful and I’m sure you will also. Thanks again, Joe

It’s a little bit of work to mill the spot on the base but it’s well worth the effort. You will thank yourself for taking the time to do it . Thank you for your commitment. Joe

I've been meaning to do something like this. I already made a tooling plate, like your plate, that I clamp in the saw's vise. But yours is another good option.

      Hi Mike,
It looks like a big deal to put the saw base in the milling machine, but if it will fit I can assure you that it’s well worth the effort in the long run. One thing is that you will find that once you mill it down ,there isn’t a hell of a lot to drill and tap into . I just use small screws and it works fine.
Also I thank myself every time I use it.

Same here Mike, I made a 75mm wide fixture plate with M8 holes to suite my mini mill's clamp set and use it in the saw vice - as a temporary solution a couple of years ago :). I've used it a lot, and occasionally use a 120mm plate from the mill but a permanent plate and fence on the 'cut-off' side like Joe's would be handy.
