@@akshatgupta5580 if I may join in here, Yes all the methods of non violence he used in boycotting British goods, his salt march etc and his inclusion of all people regardless of religion or caste in this path to freeing India from the British left a deep impact on the whole world. Other leaders were greatly inspired by his methods , applying some of these wonderful methods in their countries with success. Nobody denies the greatness of other great leaders who preceded him but the path Bapu took worked very well for the independence India ultimately got. This man was so extraordinary and even when his life was taken by an assassin, he only had compassionate words and God’s name to utter. Bapu has such a special place in so many of our hearts.

Nathuram Godse killing was the reason why pakistan never had an agreement and pakistan killed over 2 million Indian soldiers and took Jammu kashmir and India surrendred for their own sake. So,don't compare historical persons with today's standard .Gandhi as a young lawyer was a racist but later he understood that he was exactly doing the same atrocity that the British was doing against the indians.one of the most famous thing about him is that he started to call lower caste Hindus harijans.pls read a few books about him.half knowledge is very dangerous

One day, soon, the age of lies of this University will come crashing down on its head. And when that day comes these false gods like our current PM will be written in history as "selfish totalitarians"
Gandhiji said that every time a tyrant rose to power in history, the day came within a few decades or a few years his reign ended and truth triumphed.
