  • I graduated pharmacy school in 2020, finished my residency in 2021, and have officially been a full-time clinical hospital pharmacist ever since. I know, wild!
As a float pharmacist, I float around the hospital working different shifts. So that means my hours can vary. Some days I end early so I like to grocery shop and enjoy my time cooking dinner. Some days I start late so I get to enjoy cooking breakfast and relaxing at home during the day. Every day is different so there is always something new to look forward to!
This week, I work late - so I decided to challenge myself by not sleeping in and being productive in the morning before work.

I’m amazed that you are able to accomplish all those things in a day, working FT, going to the gym, cooking hearty meals, working on YT and dedicating time to read!! I pretty much go to work and just lay on the couch when I get back and would push anything else to the weekend 😅.
That’s inspiring!! Thank you for sharing your day with us and letting me know it’s possible.

Hey Sarah!! You’re not going to believe this, but I completed my pharmacy technician course in three weeks, and I passed my PTAC exam!! 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊 But I’m taking an extra mile by taking the PTCB Exam, because I want to work at my local hospital as a registered pharmacy technician

    Hi Sarah,
I'm a foreign graduate & here are the steps to become a registered pharmacist in the US:
    1. Apply at the NABP website and send the required documents.
    2. After approval from the NABP you take the following exams:
    - TOEFL
    - FPGEE
After that, you'll be awarded the FPGEC (which is an equivalency certificate)
Then you get to take these exams
    - NAPLEX
    - MPJE of the state you which to work at.
It's a very long journey that may take years to finish but completely worth it.

If I did 4 years, can I still be a pharmacist in US

    • @Rayaaaaaaaank
      @Rayaaaaaaaank Před 3 měsíci

@@shellajeanfrancois4966 I can’t answer this question. But I know that the NABP uses ECE to evaluate certificates and then decide if your certificates is equivalent to a bachelor of pharmacy degree in the US.

@@shellajeanfrancois4966 I'm afraid a 4-year degree is not acceptable to take FPGEE in the U.S. You need to have a 5-year degree.
