They pulled a real kerbal manouver right there. Seems that they forgot to turn SAS on...
mine first ksp2 launch looked like this.
LOL
@@gupikot5272 My first ever KSP flight wasn't very successful as I didn't know that you have to put an astronaut in the rocket manually
🤣You could not be more right!
they also forgot to turn on autostrut
Just consider the sheer size of the rocket
it was a skyscraper *spinning around in the sky*
Pretty amazing
It's actually 3m taller than the tallest building in my capital city.
the most incredible part its the fact that it didnt break apart during the spin, for a rocket this size its unbelivable
i love how it failed to separate but the booster still decided to do the flip anyways
It was a certified KSP moment (first)
its my fault sorry guys
Starship: gets to stage SEP.
Also starship: SpiiiIIiiIIIiiIIiiIiIIIIiN
I've had this so many times on KSP RSS! Better luck next time. This is worth a lot for the engineers
bro fogor to put wings at the bottom 💀
The Booster Engines blasted a crater into stage 0's concrete base, which on liftoff, caused debris to fly back up and pummel the engines, causing the engines to gradually start failing and hence why there were 3 missing engines on liftoff. Just if anyone isn't in the know yet
KSP 2 gameplay footage
more like KSP 3
Looked a lot like my first few flight attempts in KSP 2 trying to get the decoupler to stage properly
Why didnt they just revert to launch
Dude I was watching it in class, before an exam. That was NUTZ
I hope ur exam went well 😅
I couldn't watch it because the exam was in the morning
When I looked it up and saw it exploded I was like YIKES
The fact that it held together just fine after hurtling through the sky for a minute *and* after the FTS goes off just shows the incredible engineering behind this rocket.
Watched it live myself, was the most KERBAL flight I've ever seen, lmao! HOLY shit it flew though. And oh was it beautiful... I stood in the living room and yelled at my tv "GO YOU SON OF A BITCH"... Bet the next one works though. Valiant attempt. Watching history
I got home and I kid you not 30 seconds before liftoff so the countdown hold was the best thing to happen to me in the entire year
I watched it live yesterday. Enjoyed your reaction video. Thanks for sharing.
Very excited to see you growing as a channel, I remember a long time ago you commented on my small channel to continue making KSP videos. I did not but I am glad you are still making videos.
"Oh my God, it's lifting off! Oh my God, it's flying, Holy Jesus, it's going! It's flying! It's flying!!"
It blew up.
How does that contradict that it took off and flew?
@@Szaboo92 Oh, so it was SUPPOSED to blow up after it got off the ground?? I beg your pardon.
@@jltrem sorry for your misery.
@@Szaboo92 Sorry for your delusion.
@@jltrem what delusion? That it was a successful test? Falcon 9 blew up many times while in development, now its the most reliable rocket in history. SpaceX also appears to be the first to recover boosters. More than a hundred at this point.
Its amazing isn’t it
They did not, in fact, check their staging
when the spacex commentator said "beginning to flip for stage separation" i lost it lol
Haha, your reaction mirrored mine! And probably 1000's of others 😅
I had the same in most parts (edit : my dad was also watching and he had the same reaction as you piolet lol)
Seems like we shared a braincell on this one, my main thoughts the whole time were "IT'S FLYING" and "IT'S EXPLODING" such an awesome flight. can't wait for flight 2
BFR = Big Flipping Rocket
blud forgot to press T
At least that skyscraper can fly.
at T+ 2:23 you can notice where the orientation indicator gets messed up
They should've put a Kerman in there.
you jinxed it saying we were gonna get stage sep :'D
“It’s pointing in the right direction!” Well those words aged like fine wine 😅
Good call.
Still amazing
Yeah, it separated after it blew up!😂
whata day it has been!
man the really screwed up, they forgot SAS!
Flys better than any rocket in ksp2
Dont get why they didn't just revert to VAB and try again.
they need to not use ksp2 physics
The N1 Repeats itself
the problems with having large numbers of engines
@@mcjavabelike8320 problem in this test was not the engine amount. The hydraulic pressure units exploded at ~T+30 seconds which, in my opinion, could have lead to the stage separation failure.
This hardware was very outdated, dating back to late 2021. The next booster, Booster 9, will have electric thrust vector control, so they won't need those HPUs anymore.
The booster flips were supposed to happen, just not with the ship still attached.
While it wasn't a total success, it cleared the tower and gave the engineers plenty of flight data.
whered ya go piolet?
I seem to be pretty good at disappearing for months at a time, then randomly coming back for like a month before disappearing again. Tentative plan is to upload a video sept 24... don't know what's gonna happen after then but there are some really cool things I would LIKE to do but idk
N1 moment
It’s was kerbal launch
StAgE ShEp sTaGe ShEp
Bro they forgot sas
хорошо пошла
Too few struts i guess
and now all the news are saying the explostion wasnt intentional
4 minutes of total oversimulation
u died again i guess
