    The front suspension is only 2.5 inch of travel. If it hits the sidewalk curb, is it returning a hard hit ?

    can you lock the folding mechanism and the battery itself with a key or anybody on the street could fold it and remove the battery without any problems?

    I've been considering this vs the lectric 2.0 for beach sand riding, now leaning towards this, what do you think?

      I haven't tried the other one...or seen it in person. I can tell you that if the sand is soft you will get stuck :) I got stuck a couple of times and had to push it out

      I am not using a bike lock... I always keep the bike with me... i'm just afraid someone will steal it...

      I'm a Cambodian living in Alberta and have got used to the Alberta winters as we get Chinook winds so snows usually gone after a few days.. it's +9 right now.

    Hello Alex. I like this video. Is there any license required? Can you use it on all roads (no Hwy of course)? On sidewalks? I see there is no regeneration on brake or o downhill, too bad. Anyway a useful bike, behaving well on various surfaces. Nicely done!

      Depends on where you live I guess. In my country these bikes are not allowed.

      @@RedskullPro I believe you can use them on sidewalk if you use it in pedal assist only but basically if you go slowly nobody will notice that it's a e bike

    I’m guessing you haven’t changed the max speed settings if you only got those speeds, I have one it goes over 32MP/H 52 KM/H. Also have you swapped out of ECO mode? It has three modes, ECO, normal and sport.
    The mudguard rattles can be easily fixed, tighten the Allen bolts. In fact I recommend tightening all bolts when you get it and adding some locative, most are a little loose.
    Cruise control, hydraulic brakes and automatic lighting are all great features too.
    Not sure what’s wrong with your bike, on mine the brake light works fine

    You need to switch from ECO to SPORT to increase speed, keep "i" pressed

      @@arjunab6167 no, it works only when stationary. It’s the menu and then you can choose. Have a look in the manual

      Online is your best bet. I am in Granada and it was shipped here from Poland. I still use this bike as my day to day bike

      You can remove the battery pretty easy, but not the display

    hey Alex. Can you tell me if this bike use accelerator booster while pedaling? I saw that if you start pedaling the booster doesn't work.

      Hi are you referring to a torque sensor? If that’s what you were referring to… no it doesn’t. This one has speed sensor and when it senses it moves the motor kicks in. I actually use this bike as my personal bike now. What I do… i start by accelerating with the throttle and than I pedal this way it’s nice and easy

      @@RedskullPro No, I refer about going uphill without pedalling and when you start helping the bike with pedalling, the throttle stops pushing resulting in more effort pedalling. You can notice uphill mainly.

      Not sure what the model of the display is… :( but yes I kept this bike for myself… it has about 1500km now I think. All good but under heavy acceleration the motor does make a bit of noise now

      @@RedskullPro I saw many reviews complaining about noise in the motor and even malfunctiong. That's bad quality motor. They should spend a bit more money and install a quality motor like Bafang.

      Alex did you notice any excessive heat build -up from operating the E-Bike for an extended period of time.... lets say 1 hour of hard use will the electric motor be giving off significant heat , possibly burning ones skin in the process if pressed onto motor ? Remember when teenagers riding minibikes the exhaust muffler was always burning our skin , therefor it would be fantastic not dealing with that issue.... to safely enjoy riding around the boulevard ..!

      Hey, the rear motor gets warm and so does the battery, but never got that warm to burn.

      It's kind of slow for a 750W motor. My 500W motor can go up to 40kmh speed on throttle only. Other 500W motor can go up to 50kmh

    I don't know how the law in canada looks at these kind of E-bikes but in Europe bikes with more than 250watts or which can move without peddling are not allowed.

      @@RedskullPro Speed-pedelecs are allowed to go faster (45km/u) but still no throttle. But you have to get a license, insurance and have to wear a helmet.

    could you try the geekbuying ebikes? they are shiped from EU so free tax for you. Check the Deepower H20 Pro and the Burchda R5 Pro. They have 1000 watts and quite cheap.

    I think the battery is 16 ah, not 12.8 ah. The 12.8 is for the EP2 Pro.

    i wish the came with a locking system like the AXA in the dutch bikes. When you park it for one minute you have to use a chain and find a pole to secure it instead of locking the wheel. Those wheel locks are not suitable for this bike because it's a fat wheel.

      Yeah, I’m afraid to park it anywhere… someone will steal it. As for warranty… supposedly 1 year warranty… but not sure how that would work.

    i have the bike and 70 km is not possible. Max what i acheiwed was about 35 km on one charge

      Yes you ALWAYS have to half what the manufacturers say. When they do TESTS its always PAS 1. And a 140lb rider. On a FLAT road.

    Update to my issue. I recieved damaged bikes and tried to dispute with my bank. It failed so they sent the funds back. Contacted engwe support again and the offered a better discount for the damage bikes but was asked to close the case. I verified it was closed on may 11th. I informed support twice an today I was informed they didn't have the fund and wanted the bikes back. I once again contacted my bank and was told they had the fund and saw the transfer. Right now I'm stuck on what I can do. If I send the bikes back I still will owe the 1899.99. This has been a nightmare and I feel like I'm being scammed. The only thing I can tell people who consider this bike and company, don't buy it. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had. #boycott engwe.

      @@rickflair4428 I sent money to a seller for an ebike and it turned out to be a scam. Amazon put the money back in my CC, ie, they dismissed the bill.

    Recieved my bikes damaged in mail. Boxes looked like hell. Charger was damaged on the black one. Tryed to work with engwe and only willing to give 20 for damage to fenders, wheels, and derailer cages. Not willing to give a good discount and offered return but 25% stocking fee. Tryed to dispute on card and failed. Please don't buy from this company.

      man...1000w motor would be nice. It can probably climb hills without pedaling. I kind of made mine look like the 1000w one. I removed the fenders. Since you are getting it from Amazon you might as well try it. If it's not good send it back!
