    One of the main reasons Jett rules is because he seems so down to Earth and so humble. On top of that he has an awesome personality, insane natural ability and the drive. Best of luck to him. Right now he is wearing the weight of the world on his shoulders.

    Stoked to have another Aussie killing it and representing Australia on the world stage, and seems to have a good head on his shoulders too.
    Its hard to teach that sort of wisdom to a teen but he has obviously has some great mentors his life.

    I am a manager and going back to my days at Purdue I had a Industrial Engineering course where the professor was a retired plant manager for Alcoa there in Lafayette, IN. I am 54 an to this day I still use his advise. It's simple really, "get the right people to do the right things right and take care of the people (the same people obviously) who take care of you". Honestly what else is there whilst on your way to the top?
    Really does work and it is sad that more managers do not take the approach- intentionally.

      He's the big dog now. He's going to make a lot of money through racing, sponsor pay, and endorsement deals. I'd bet he's in the high 7 to low 8 digit region this year. If he stays at the top like he should he could easily retire with a career earning near $100 million. As long as he's not stupid he should be able to set himself and his family up for life.

    Question - if his family was so poor, how in the world did they afford to buy a dirt bike and go racing?
    Not just one child doing it but 2 kids racing dirt bikes. I can't understand that...at all.

    • @GYPSYTALES
      @GYPSYTALES  Před 2 lety +3

      Poor because of dirt bikes. Was the same in my family. We wanted to go racing so all the money that would go towards normal stuff got put on the back burner so we could all race and travel as a family each weekend. Just a kind of lifestyle I guess?

    I like Jett and am not trying to be negative, but how was his family so "broke" and eating ramen noodles every night yet he was racing motocross? Our sport is NOT cheap. Quite expensive to compete at a high level. Something doesn't add up with Jetts' story of being broke.

    • @GYPSYTALES
      @GYPSYTALES  Před 2 lety

      Broke because of motocross. Chasing the dream kinda deal. Surely that makes sense?

    • @chupacabraracing181
      @chupacabraracing181 Před 2 lety

      @@GYPSYTALES yea i get that but seems like food would not have been skimped out on like he's talking about with having to eat the noodles for dinner. I mean most parents in that situation skimp out on buying the new "name brand" clothes and shoes so that they can buy the kid the best MX gear. But they would want the kid to eat healthy. Also, here in America families that are struggling get food stamps so that food isn't an issue and I'm pretty sure Australia has some kind of similar system. But either way happy for Jett and Hunter both for making it to the top of the sport.

      @@chupacabraracing181his family sold everything and moved to Europe to take a chance on their kids. It didn't pan out right away and they needed help at every turn. It's finally paid off and Jett is making more in a year then they ever had. The gamble paid off and the kid is making the most of it.

    This is why Danger kid has no chance, he has no reason to win besides pride. Jett has to win or his family's struggle is in vain. If he doesn't succeed it was all for nothing. Haiden will never have to worry about the consequences of a bad season, Jett needs to win to provide for his family. This is real life for him, for Deegan it's just a hobby, that's the difference.
