    • @FrogyProd
      @FrogyProd  Před 4 lety

      Ah damn man, does that mean you couldn't retrieve it back? At least one day when humans are extinct and Aliens come to our planet, they'll maybe find your drone and think it was some underwater helicopter device we used to use.

      FrogyProd lol definitely got that message before putting the Mavic up in the air! I was using the app Hoover to check fly/no fly zones and suddenly it has stopped working for me. Do you have any other app suggestions for me to check fly zones?

    • @FrogyProd
      @FrogyProd  Před 6 lety

      D.J. I don't use any apps, just google "DJI NO FLY ZONES" and you'll get an official dji website that shows you where you can and can't fly. It's def the best way to check

    how your mavic dont lost the sinal, with mine in the city after 300mt lost the sinal easy...

    • @FrogyProd
      @FrogyProd  Před 3 lety +1

      It's cause I had nothing between me and the drone blocking the signal. I find the Mavic air can go far as long as there is nothing between you and the drone. As soon as something blocks the signal (even if the Mavic is close) it just loses the signal

  • @jmgriffin2

    • @FrogyProd
      @FrogyProd  Před 4 lety

      Yes for sure! I've had it exactly 2 years now and still love it. I will say though that the Mavic Pro series has way better reception, but at the cost of a bigger drone

  • @kuroijukai
    @kuroijukai Před 6 lety +1

    What's the reason of flying in the middle of nowhere with no interference at all? Next try you can do the same test in desert or another planet. Everyone knows, that Mavic Air distance in city is really shit and limited to 300 meters max. That's the only thing that really matters.

    WOW Dude that was an amazing video. I live I Hamilton , and just bought my first Mavic Air. I have always wondered if the Mavic Air would hit the 4km mark. What is the distance like in the city ?

    • @FrogyProd
      @FrogyProd  Před 5 lety +1

      Nice man! Thing with the mavic is the signal is pretty weak. You need to have an unobstructed view between the drone and controller which is hard to get at a distance in the city unless you are on a rooftop. As long as you have that unobstructed view you can go far, but as soon as it goes behind a building you start losing signal no matter how far it is. You'll feel it out. It takes a lot of flights in different environments to get to know the aircraft
