team will be challenging the Austrian squad lot more than we could originally anticipate.
With a lot of changes revealed on the SF-24, as well as Sainz saying that the car already
‘feels’ a lot different in the simulator compared to its predecessor, could we see the
Spaniard make a home-run in 2024 and compete up front, and more importantly - how will
Ferrari act now that they know their driver’s lineup is changing drastically in 2025?

Imagine Sainz world champion in his last year and then Mercedes driver next year after Hamilton left.
Mercedes will most probably take Alonso and I can’t wait for it bc he is the only good candidate for them. Carlos in 26 will go to Audi and Mercedes knows it so it would be a problem for them to look for another driver after only year.

Strategy and management have been a constant instead 😅
In 22 they had great car but fucked up with strategy, last year the car was disaster bc of Binotto…hope this one will be better. Ferrari is the only team that can fight with RB.
With ferrari every year is game changer
it's looking promising every year. and every year we either start on the backfoot OR we start a bit ahead but can't keep it up over the season whether it's development of upgrades or other things. I am waiting for 2026 personally. Unfortunately RBR have such a headstart that 2024 and 2025 Verstappen is likely to be unthreatened.

The 2023 car was actually very good and they had multiple chances to beat RB on strategy and they compounded the lack of race pace with gross strategy errors

Ferrari own Formula 1 they are the only team that have been there since the start 1956 and they have the most money than any other team

It won’t be Lewis team mate. Leclerc is their priority. They know he can be a champion but they have to create for him a good car and strategy. Knowing Charles he would also not sing another contract if he would be pushed on second place in team. Carlos also has characteristics to be number one which he showed many times but also was treated badly so many times bc Charles is number one, in Ferrari this division is much more visible than in Mercedes and I know Hamilton knew about it before coming to our team.
Toto saying a 2.5 second gain per lap is clearly a joke.

On a slightly unattached note, I really don't see how long Leclerc will tow the line knowing you have a 7 time world champion coming in as your teammate...
Im guessing if Leclerc stays on regardless of new contract he's going to have to convincingly out drive Hamilton, alas Leclerc is going to become to Hamilton what Massa was to Alonso at Ferrari.
And there's absolutely nothing to say Ferrari come 2026 will or won't be competent and competitive off the bat....
And Sainz, how focused and driven will he be knowing that he's be put out to pasture.
Sainz will be given the minimum of upgrades and priority.

Yep. if history repeats itself like in the years 1974-1979 or 1998-2007, it could be some fun. Funny how Anglo Saxon fans always remember the years Ferrari has a hard time but never when they dominated, and never give their own teams the same treatment. How long since McLaren has done anything worth of its history? Williams? Sure Mercedes dominated recently but what did they achieve before hiring Ferrari's Chief Technical Director Aldo Costa? literally nothing.

Am listening this type of pre season crap since 2009.. every time team suffered with either reliability issues or downforce.. i wont believe ferrari unless they win championship
all this is meaningless as long as they have a crap team for the strategies. This is only fixing one of the three things i can think of in the past with their team. So its faster... great. what about reliability and the strategy? as long as we don't have those last two they will continue to have a lot of downfalls. Definitely more wins in terms of points but I don't know about them winning championships yet.
