Have a great week guys! Cheers.
Nice, I’ll ask my boss
😆
Hahahahauaua
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
I mean…you could still implement the majority of this routine aside from the hour workouts (which aren’t really good every single day anyway). Just get up 15 mins earlier for the jog and sunlight, cold shower, avoid the phone and caffeine for first 90-120 minutes (which is probably a good idea since your boss probably would want you to anyway)
Morning routine in the real world: wake up. Go to work in the dark.
go to wirk at the dark, home at the dark.. only summer is lil bit different
Very true
Assuming a standard 9-5 this is perfectly feasible though.
Let's say an hour commute to work, you can have a walk, short workout (even if its just a few pushups) and cold shower long before you even think about setting out for work.
@@thebenevolentsun6575He said to get sunlight. It's dark at 8am in my country at the moment. So no, it isn't feasible at all.
@@ZakM93 You don't need direct sunlight.
Instructions unclear: I came to work in the afternoon and got fired...
😂
good for you!
It was clear. There was nothing about job here.
@@lucjanpawarotti1672 exactly!
@@maxpower4435 so it seems you just don't need any job with it...;)But seriously: 90 minutes (of true) work is more than enough to prosper.
I recall my grandparents lifestyle living in rural area. They got up every morning at 5 a'clock, drunk some fresh water(had a fountain), washed face with cold water and then going to feed the livestock, doing gardening and what else around the house. They usually had their first meal around noon time, and of course coffee was not a part of their diet! They were slim and fit till the end. Miss them a lot!
They knew what a good life means
“Drank”, not “drunk some fresh water”.
So why’d we trade this scenario for the rat race? Blows my mind. Your grandparents had the life.

@@olgarossaaI see a pro tip right there
I did something like this in college, but with the workout first. It's too hard to do this on your own all at once... you have to add in habits one at a time. Took me 3 years to get there, but don't give up. It makes you feel human again
The only hard part is the cold shower. Takes a week or so to adjust to that.
@@hiddencabbage559 Cold showers are easy. I took my first cold shower ever in years, 2 minutes straight no problem.
@@ibo1137 I have been doing cold showers for a month now, and still haven’t gotten used to it. Makes me think somethings never get easier
@@hiddencabbage559True story - my shower doesn’t get cold enough. Goes from warm to warm 🤦🏽♂️
Used to love going cold for a min or two to get that endorphin rush
Any tips to begin developing these good habits? I’m currently in college and do great with my academics I just have trouble putting aside the time to treat myself well, even though I definitely do have the time. Should I just try to force myself into consistency until it becomes habit? I feel like I have the sense of urgency to get things done that need done, but I don’t have the discipline to create small wins for myself day by day.
That’s why getting a dog is vital. You gotta walk em every effing morning. Yasss sunlight 🎉
I agree, dogs force you to be physical! Get out and enjoy life
It's not vital , if you wanted to , you would do.
I thought this too, now I just get up let him out to pee and run around the backyard for ten minutes (smaller dog) and im at my desk working afterwards. Doesnt help when I did walk him, he barks the WHOLE walk. I mean the WHOOOOLE walk non stop.
I walk my cat. He likes the time to explore and sniff around. 👍
I also wake up around 6:30, write down the time, then fall back asleep with the pen in my hand only to wake up at 9 am with ink on my face and realizing I am late for my daily team meeting, which I then attend at my computer only dressed from the waist up.
We’re all living the same life
Hilarious! Thanks for the laugh 😂
My 93 year old grandma calls this "earn your coffee"

What’s HER secret?
@@terencenordberg7482 thanks. Earn your coffee is definitely part of her secret next to many friends, daily work in and around her house and garden and keeping faith although she lost her husband in war, all her siblings due to aging and a son due to cancer.
Might as well throw in 10-20 minute meditation if we’re talking everything for optimal brain health routine
Cold exposure after working out is bad it’s has to be before
First thing is thanking GOD I woke up.
@@Jakebond45 Right after is bad for sure, but you can workout in the morning and do cold exposure later in the evening/night. Although if your goal is hyperthrophy and you aren't trying to improve cardiovascularity, skipping cold exposure altogether is probably more beneficial than doing it at all.
@JasonRobin-md4ru depends on the workout. If you did mma, bjj or any other similar form of conditioning I'd recommend cold showers.
Huberman even says cold after working Is bad for hypertrophy, he does rounds of heat and cold on his rest day, I don't know if this is an older clip or he's just chatting shit
My bladder wakes me up between 3am & 4am. I pee and go back to bed. If I don’t fall back asleep I make coffee and get on my computer. Then I go back to bed at around 5:30am and fall asleep. I’m retired
Lol!
I'm 48, sounds like me, I miss the good ol days of sleeping all night, waking up at a decent time😭
“I write down what I wake up”

Everybody has their own routine when they wake up. My main routine is prayer.
So get up, hydrate, work, and exercise. Groundbreaking.
I wake at 6:00,Am wow !😊
no you also need to get up and go outside, helps you sleep, vitamin D, physical activity and cortisol, regulation of circadian rythym, serotonin boost, melatonin regulation, better sleep patterns, enhanced mood and energy, and increases productivity.
1)wake up at 6/6:30
2)write down time of waking up
3)sunlight time
4)get outside for 10-15 min walk
5)electrolytes intake
6)no food until 11/12
7)90 min flow state cognitive workout
8)physical exercise for 60 mins
9)cold water therapy
Do u work?
Who can do it?
Thank you!
Someone in my river trail mentioned you today. He was soaking in river water and I talked to him about it. I am enjoying your videos and I just started watching. God bless you
I am interested in understanding how Athletic Greens is compatible with fasting when it has 50 calories and 4 net carbs. Won't this break a fast? I wait until mid day to have AG1, but would rather have it in the morning.
I’m thinking he’s referring to food intake. People have different definition of fasting.
36 hour fast means you can pig out on healthy good.
Anything for the sponsorship!
I also do similar routine. 1) wake up 7 am, go for a walk and drink water. 2) coffee around 830 at work. However I find sometimes I get caught checking my phone too early so my mind is not longer so focused. 3) exercise wise - I wonder if it’s better to do it in the morning first thing or late in the afternoon when our minds are tired.
If you lift weights it better in the evening since ur body has all the right nutrients for a optimal workout but if u do bodyweight morning is best :)
Why do I sense he actually wakes up at 9am😂😂
Lmao 😅 not my boy AH 👏🏽🤣

@@kandilynomg what you do
Do what suits you guys. Don't blame yourself if something does not work. You have to find your own routine and don't forget that this routine might change over time.
That’s the whole damn day
Bro…if he wakes up at 6am, he’s done with his routine, in full, by 9:30am.
Interesting. I start with the cold shower and then meditation and physical activity and then breakfast and then I start my day.
Great routine!
Lost me at wake up at 6:30am😂
This routine changed my life. Day one went like this:
6:45am- Naturally wake up (no alarm) and hydrate
7:00- 15 min outdoor walk
7:30- At the gym, 1hr work out
8:30 - Cold plunge
9 - Get to work, explain to my foreman why I'm 2 hours late to the job site.
9:10- Take my coffee break, again, explain to the crew why I'm not doing anything. Delayed caffeine intake is optimal!
9:20- Do 90 min of mindful work with meditation time throughout. No one is happy about that.
11- Take my lunch break, it's an hour before everyone else but I'm optimizing.
Noon - Begin my post lunch deep rest.
At this point the foreman fired me. I continued this routine with my next 3 jobs. I have been unemployed and homeless for 6 months now and I'm writing this under a bridge in my cardboard box. I'm the most optimal and mindful man in my encampment.
😂. This is great
Well any suggestions for employed people who leave their house before 6am?? 🤣🤣🤣
Quit the stupid job...
Yeah, wake up at 3am😅. Glhf
just get enough sleep I guess

My morning routine
1.wake up around 7:30/8am
2.drink tea
3.bible study
4.exercise for about 30-40 mins
5.first meal after 11am
I’m so happy to say I’m doing this now I used to dream of being this disciplined
I work evenings and my job requires me to walk and stand alot but I still include fitness atleast 3-4 times a week
I’m also focusing on high protein which helps so much
I’m being told I look slimmer which was the goal
Sounds great!
What’s your night time routine look? You sound really disciplined.
Start with hot water and eco lemon in it instead of tea. Tea is better later in the day.
I have already been at work for an hour by the time he wakes up
If you have a revolutionary spirit you want, you need all this teaching
Awesome bro the rest of us actually have to work for a living.
He definitely does more work than you do 😂
@@weirdflex8158 Right, as if you know me or what I do. He should do a study on how his semen affects your brain because I think you are getting too much.

Step1: Get a big fat research grant.
Step 2: Quit your job so you'll have time to do this during the day.
i agree huberman sounds really out of touch with the working class here but researchers are really not making big money. research grants are for conducting your research and researchers try to make every dollar go as far as it can. huberman gets his money from ads on his terrible content and from the dumb supplements he sells
@@TheChewman2001 I thought they were supposed to be smart supplements.
@@TheChewman2001calling him out of touch with the working class is so dumb. Hes not working class. It would be weird to roleplay as if he was and this routine allows him to get the most out of time. Having access to this luxury and then making use of it is a good thing. If you dont like his content then fine but to say its bad is wild
@@TheChewman2001I love Huberman but I agree on his ads nothing actually worth it LOL
You're not going to believe me but I honestly do most of these things before I go to work in the morning. All it takes is a little tweak to your sleep schedule. You can easily lump a couple of these things together for the same result.
Dude is blessed with a SHORT day!!
Tried this when I have a household to run and a small kid who need to be prepped and dropped to school before I get ready for work. Estimated wake up time needed to be advanced to 3:45 AM for me. Being able to have a morning routine like this is wonderful but it's a privilege for a few and it would be great if the prof acknowledged that.
I do similar to you but I don’t do it consistently that is the key 🔑
The way he says my caffeine...
Wake up, scroll CZcams shorts for an hour...
I'm ready for my day
At least I wake up at 6am and get some sunlight 😂
Hey do what you can!

yyaaaaaaaaaa.......... no ya don't

I've lost 100 pounds following this everyday
Felt dreadful a little while ago. Tried it. Worked👍
I don't see sunlight outside until 9/10am where I live fr 💀
I do remember him saying recently that sometimes he drinks coffee after 20 min of waking up when he trains early. That's the sign I needed ;)
this would be a good off day practice
4-4:30 am for me and then skateboarding for an hour
I was going to comment on the goal guy being there and then saw it was goal guy's video
My morning: 6.30 woken up by three cats sitting on my head/ shower in warm water to get warm from freezing cold house ( can’t afford heating in the UK)/ pour cheap instant hot coffee down neck again for warming purposes/ get in car in the dark/ arrive at work at 8.
This is the first video ive watched today snd im allready drinking coffee
This guy ❤
People from Europe: today is the day to start as we have summer time again
Up at 5AM it's dark, hot shower as energy bills are so high in the UK that my heating is not left on at night so I wake up freezing cold. Hit that caffeine straight away as that's the only way I'm getting through work, walk to work in the dark, get to work and more caffeine. Finish work and it's dark. Go to the gym, go home. Rinse and repeat
I wake up, sell you athletic greens and by midday i am receiving the commission 😅😂
I wait about 60-90 minutes after I wake up to have my black coffee as well 👍🏼
Just wake up at 4am and it will work if you are an employee.
I think he is an entrepreneur who works mostly online at home
Great advice
Definitely!
I wake up (5:30-6:00) prepare my greens, reds, aminos, moringa blend. Take probotics (coconut cult) Go to the gym (2 hrs) . Then head to work while eating my protein bar (11am-12pm).
Where do u work? 😂 I want to apply
Good advice 👍
I was wondering what is that green liquid you're drinking that's compatible with kito diet?
He mentions Athletic Greens.
Update the video, he finally accepted that doing the cold exposure before workouts (and better yet as early as possible before caffeine intake) is bwtter for muscle, health, etc
Incorporating goal-setting and planning into your morning routine provides a dedicated time for reflection and strategic thinking, increasing the likelihood of achieving your short-term and long-term goals.

"Make a b-line to sunlight"... at 6.30am... in the north of England... Yeah right pal!! sunlight is still 3 hours away if at all that day
So for those who work early.
Wake up to natural sunlight or the best you can get. Drink a glass of slightly salty water before work. Have coffee on lunch.
Easy to say when you can walk out at 6:30am and have sunlight.
I woke at 6.30 and realised I was already half an hour late for work.
Nice Routine. Little adjustments so it fits my day. I gotta work so i get up at 4:30 so I'm done by 6:50 and ready for work.
