Thank You! Always good to make sure your camera has a good view.
Awesome! Thanks
Appreciate it helped.
very nice
Thanks!
I think you could install it better by hiding the wiring even more, and also prevent noises by tiding up the wire using tesa wiring loom tape
Thank you for the recommendation. So far so good regarding any noises or vibration from the wires.
What’s better? Plugging the camera in the power adapter or using the actual car battery? Is the power adapter the same thing? Will using the car battery drain my battery faster
If you use the kits that use constant battery, it’s to allow a parking mode which keeps the camera in a low power mode until an impact is detected which allows the camera to react faster to capture the incident. If you use the power outlet it will only start recording when the vehicle is switched on. You can still enable parking mode without the kit but it will only last so long on the battery until it’s drained
I have this camera installed in my 2017 Subaru Outback. It is a GREAT camera. Question... Any reason a second camera couldn't be installed high inside the rear windshield to serve as a rear facing camera? There's a car charger outlet in the rear cargo area of the Outback so I'd only need about 3 feet of USB cable. Thanks.
If you have a rear outlet then it won’t be an issue. I’ve done it on my VW in the hatch which also had a rear outlet. They do make dash cams with a rear camera and you just route the cables so you only power off one socket and use one memory card.
How did you get video from this camera? Does it have wifi on ap?
This specific model doesn’t have WiFi built in. Everything is stored on a Micro SD card which you will need to either remove and use a memory card reader to access the videos or hooking up the camera via USB.
@@MobileCarMechanic how do you compare this and a220 duo?
What type of SD Card it takes?
It takes MicroSD Card
Thanks!
